Congratulations today if you have put your name on a new Bandit stump grinder, the first batch have arrived & we will do our best to get them delivered asap.

Just sold a 90xp on a turntable but this is 85hp with a 9"x17" opening. Ok if you have something to pull it & you can work fast enough.

Tracked machines is something we have done a lot with over the years, whether it's a factory order or if one is built in house there is a huge choice.

Refurbishment of machines is something we have done a lot of over the years & the Bandit's always clean up well. Here's a few.

The 250 is Red, White & Blue, the light Blue was chipper number 50,000. I have a few nice chipper & grinders on order now which are worth a post.
-
I approached Greenteeth in America about purchasing tips but they won't sell, not sure about other manufacturers.
-
We do chipper refurbs every week of the year & the price needs to suit a budget or how far you want to go. Below is our latest being delivered Friday, shotblast, respray to customers spec, new chipdisc, knives, anvil, full service, any other repairs were rectified, extra options fitted. Based in Lincolnshire but cover the whole of the Uk & Ireland, collection & delivery possible as we have Ten mobile engineers around.

There is a small loss to the hydraulic system if you are working hard, under normal operating circumstances if the depth of cut & slew speeds are set there is really no difference. All that will happen if you try to take to deeper cut is the hydraulic system will relieve to ease the strain on the machine to a point where it can stop but on the + side you cant wreck belts etc or abuse it. Personally I think it's a balance.

This is the current 2250xp narrow version (29"), the main difference from the HB20 is obviously operator fatigue. Although the HB20 is a very productive grinder & will cope with any size stump it is still a pedestrian grinder, the 2250 has a 50" swing arc so not much manoeuvring to do, also the cutterhead is 20" diameter with 10 more teeth so it has a lot more momentum. By far the best selling point of these range of grinders is the hydraulic drive so no maintenance or expense with belts which I come across every week with all manufacturers, the engine is positioned on the rear low down making the machines well balanced & stable. Whether the machine is more productive or not? there are too many variables.

£14,700+vat for the narrow version which is now all we will stock unless anyone wants the wider version which is £1K cheaper.

Bandit grinders demo in Cambridge open to all - 7th Feb
GlobalNewark replied to Wolfie's topic in Large equipment
Done, not a good time for demos. No HB20, no 2550, no 2900T. Loads on order but the whole of the next container is sold. I will post on here when we have restocked or people have have ceased buying. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app -
