  1. Although I shouldn't big you up Richard fair play for listening to customers & coming out fighting, although our paths don't cross often it is not easy in the market place &'it's certainly full with manufacturers. TW have had their fair share of critics in this sub 750kg market & I'm not envious of not being in it. As Pete said earlier the competition is healthy & the others will have to up their game if your chipper is all,it boasts to be, saying that there will always be a market for cheapest is best! 2. There will be a couple of production changes to the new HB20's, firstly the timing cylinder will be removed to eliminate the delay for drive engagement & also the drive control will be moved from the side to the centre position. There is a conversion kit if anyone wishes to remove the delay from their current machine.
  3. The Bandit 1590xp drum chipper, 18" capacity & one of the best sellers around the world. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JKLdD9NwoE4]Bandit Model 1590, 1590XP - 17" capacity drum chipper - our most popular! - YouTube[/ame]
  4. If your building stuff like ours it makes no difference as we don't care about weight, only quality & a machine that does what it supposed to. Others may take the easy option? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app
  5. It usually comes down to the age old weight debate, bigger opening usually demand more power = bigger engine = more weight & most manufacturers aim for the mass market. This is why all are the same design with the same engine. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app
  6. Go to VOSA website Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app
  7. The Bandit 18SVC biomass chipper will be on display at this years APF show, a good mid sized 18" capacity chipper fitted with a 350hp CAT engine. This fits nicely into the market between the smaller chippers & the pto driven machines but smaller than the larger more expensive biomass chippers. This opens the market up to a wider customer base looking to get into this market. The chipper is radio remote control & has a discharge for loading into bulkers that hydraulically folds for transport. Please visit our stand to view this machine working throughout the show.[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4A8WQmG4h0U&feature=youtube_gdata_player]Bandit 18svc - YouTube[/ame]
  8. The CPC courses cover numerous aspects including tachographs & operation, first aid, daily checks, compliance, safety, penalties, driver essentials etc. Driving is not the main part of my job but good luck to anyone pulled after Sept 10th by VOSA or DVSA as it is now as it's there decision that counts, I would be surprised if anyone won an argument with this authority. If they decide you need CPC your license will be revoked until you have one, the training has now been on the cards for 10 years but most thought it would go away so ignored it, my tutor is now booked solid beyond the cut off date.
  9. I think this is another creek, I've not found anyone who has an alternative source for these. Carlton only I believe. Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk

  12. 50 & 60 is plenty quick enough & frankly I wouldn't want to go any quicker with a van, its the 30mph brigade who cause problems.
  13. Thought I would update the post as I've been busy for a while, this is the new model 105 which is the 12" turntable chipper. It is fitted with a 85hp engine & all the usual Bandit goodies. We have these on order & it will be available to view at the APF later in the year.
  14. You wouldn't get stuck behind me, with the Disco in front it doesn't touch the floor!
  15. Not enough for some, I'm sure next week we will be reading again if that someone's lost bits of themselves or worse. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app
  16. Here's a nice one delivered this week, only large stumps need apply. Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk
  17. Hi Martin, you have seen as much as me at the moment. It will definitely be more expensive as it will be radio remote only, I don't think it will go anywhere the 4WD won't go & tracks make a lot of mess when slewing so boards would be needed. I think personally 4wd or tracks are personel preference.
  18. Hello mate, I'm down in Essex & Suffolk on Monday delivering a few new grinders if your about. All the engines are on the rear now there are no belts. Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk
  19. Here is a quick glimpse of the 2550xp on tracks, still 45hp turbo but an option to the 4WD version, hopefully making an appearance soon. Built on Bandits own track base. Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk
  20. We supply these push paddles with all our chippers as Std issue but they mostly get chipped by customers as it's funny? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app
  21. They did make the track version but decided to dis continue it as it was not cost effective as a tracked model, only the 4WD version remains. I believe there are further models in development. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app
  22. Bandit only make the 2650 as a wheeled model, the tracked grinder in the picture is 2900T. This is 115hp & yes it's sold. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app
  23. Yes, we have at least another 10 due around the end of July but I know Six of these are also sold. I'll keep the orders going in. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app
