  1. Meanwhile back in Croydon
  2. Got a phone call to go to Croydon for a demo & found we were grinding this windblown stump, just managed to get the top of the stump with the handle on the floor. Didn't bring the grinder home
  3. No stock of the narrow ones yet, Four arriving tomorrow but all sold. Five more on order of which Two are sold, the only way to get one is place a deposit on one. Shipping to Sweden is no problem, we have std machines in stock?
  4. Hey Liam, you asked what the best track machine was so I thought I would butt in, the 12" is like the one you hired a while ago. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app
  5. How much do you want to spend, have a lovely 7" & a 12" drum due in shortly?
  6. I agree, I joined after investing in a caravan last year. A couple of visits to Brands Hatch & Cadwell park with friends then onto Carsington Water where the membership fee payed for itself, also visited the caravan show last week through the club for £6 including parking & programme at the NEC. Not bad as parking is usually £10 on it's own!
  7. OBMTec near Lincoln are Morbark dealers
  8. Morbark are just round the corner from Bandit in Michigan, another solidly built American chipper. A lot of the components are shared with Bandit like knives etc, they are represented in the Uk. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app
  9. TW definitely have the largest share of the market here, I sat the other day & thought of 34 different chipper manufacturers so the market is swamped. It is easy to see the attributes of some makes like the TW & it has it's place in the market, I can see why customers would want this & I can see why people want lightweight, narrow & budget machines. I can understand tracked chippers & we know our place in the market, then there are other makes where the mind boggles? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app
  10. Big chip do not have any of these but you are correct they all came from us, he is no longer a dealer & hasn't been for sometime.
  11. Please let me know if you get offered one as we had one stolen in Winchester in December.
  12. Knives=£31.00ea x2 CHIPPER CAPACITY: 4” diameter 10.16 cm CHIPPER OPENING: 7” x 15-1/2” 17.78 x 39.4 cm ENGINE: 18 hp 13.4 kW WEIGHT: 500 lbs 226.7 kg LENGTH: 74” 187.96 cm WIDTH: 29” 73.66 cm HEIGHT: 52” 132.08 cm FUEL TANK: 2 gallon 5.75 L
  13. My price will always be the same as I am the only one in the Uk & Ireland that sells it.
  14. We have never to my knowledge ever sold any bearings for this model, in the Twelve years I have worked for Global I would suggest you could count on one hand the amount of feed wheel bearings we have sold across the board.(unless anyone on here can correct me), this is why they end up being a cheap machine. 15. At the moment just the 75xp(7" disc) as this chipper is unique in our range, the feedwheels sit the opposite way round to all other chippers we build so it loves conifer. We don't do bearing changes either:001_tt2:
  16. Sorry all missed this as been a little hectic, the video posted belongs to Treeworx on here. The trailer is a Brian James tipper & the chipper is strapped in the front so that's where it stays when you tip the chip. I find it easy to load onto trailers, in the back of Vauxhall Movano & up ramps on to a low loader by myself, every machine we sell is electric start, you can have the option of pto or self propelled versions although its an expensive option, Although the infeed is large, the build warranty etc which is all std for our machines they have to be operated the same as all these wee chippers, there is an art to trimming & feeding & the knives have to be kept sharp & well adjusted. Reading previous threads this is normal across the board. Price is £3995+vat & yes we only have one demo unit left. I have posted some pics on another post here about a week ago.
  17. As requested, no jamming anymore. The speed of the feedwheels can be contributed to the fact that they are a much larger diameter than most, feed rate is 80ft per minute down to a 1/4" chip.
  18. Thank god for that back on the TW again.
  19. Our chippers wouldn't work on fast speed & seems pointless to keep start/ stopping or reverse feeding with stress control as this is waste of fuel & time.a chipper with a 6x6 opening is ok but a chipper with with 7.5x12 would overload. I think it's the tortoise & the hare scernario.
  20. Well at least it's sorted now, it's not as easy as changing one roller. The lower one is changed & the slats are alot more shallow than the curved roller.
  21. Here is a picture of the latest type feedwheels from our stock, have some video but struggling to upload it.
  22. There's a nice Jo Beau M400 for sale on here for £2500. (Can't believe I just said that, must get the tablets).
  23. Your under an hour from us, come have a cuppa & a look.
  24. These may be able to help Chris Stonebridge= 07781131605 Dave Brouard = 07781137559
