    In transport position 67", £7150 + vat & the lead time is 3/4 weeks as we have one on the way now.

    I would like to let everyone know there will now be a new version of the best selling Bandit HB20 grinder, the new version will be a narrow access model at 25" width. This comes complete with dual wheels as std, this model will be £200 extra from the std model. All other aspects of the machine remain unchanged. Orders are being taken with immediate effect with Two already sold. The original 29" model is still available should anybody want it.

    Global build as Bandit do not produce this as a tracked model, it could have been made narrower if we chopped it about but the existing mounts have been used so in theory you could put the axles back on.

    Lol, I'm fit as a fiddle IMO. Always glad to show off that model of grinder as seeing is believing. No orders in the inbox but another Two orders placed today for these. Anyway always to help & thanks for the kind comments:thumbup1:

    The grinder has been built I guess as a trial to see if there is much interest, as a Bandit dealer we are never going to sell to the majority. The machine is 33" width & it looks like it will be approx. £19,500, not sure of the weight yet but it will track over mountains. We could have used cheaper components to reduce the price but this is not what we do although the project was budgeted to come under £20K. If I don't sell it quickly I would like some of you to have a play & give your feedback.

    We ran Two at our end & they worked hard for a living towing our lightweight chippers, mine was sold at approx. 151,000 miles & apart from the normal front tyres it only had front wheel bearings. I never had any of the problems with engine, gearbox & axles you hear of. the trucks were serviced religiously. The second truck we were not so lucky when the engine gave up at 220,000 miles.

    Can I ask what is wrong with your stress control or auto feed as we call it, there are many different parts to a system but surely only one has expired. We stock all parts for our system including the controller which has adjustable limits, let me know what has packed in & I maybe able to help, we also have good electrical engineers.

    I've done a few JCB's & as said getting to the clamps are a nightmare, I use to tie the new pipe to the old one & pull them through. Sometimes quicker to remove the inner boom for all the struggling.
