  1. Not a whiskey drinker but the JD honey sure is smooth if not expensive, taken me away from my Morgans spice.
  2. Only trouble is clipping them on your belt to go up the tree:lol:
  3. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CuBzbsTSJqU&feature=player_embedded]Bandit 490 xp - YouTube[/ame] This belongs to Johny69 on here, think it is a tipping Brian James trailer with a Bandit 490xp.
  4. You can pm to me please, think I'm going to start collecting these from visitors or even take a photo on my phone & let them see me do it.
  5. Sometimes it seems that we can't get these fast enough:001_rolleyes:
  6. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yFVHSrU8YGc]Bandit Model HB20 Sidewinder Handlebar Stump Grinders - YouTube[/ame] sorry about the music in advance:lol:
  7. We are going to be moving on to the Alma Park Ind Estate from Newark as we have outgrown our current premises, hopefully fully moved by March but until then still at Newark. The dog thing sounds gruesome, I have to say I would take my chances & shoot.
  8. No one steals Bandit, too heavy!
  9. Hundreds of them in Newark where we are based as they have a huge camp there, you can watch scrap vans ride by every couple of minutes. I visited our new premises yesterday in Grantham & low & behold scrap men turned up, there should be a pest control you can put down for these scum.
  10. I believe they have a deeper chassis rail now, they are changing continuously. They are are now only available up to 114hp unless you go to tier 4. We do build as std on twin axle it that makes relatively no difference to weight or price, the machine sits lower & tows better. You can still have single axle if you wish. Always willing to talk money, give me a shout.
  11. Approx weights are as follows:- New machines 90xp- 2200kgs 150ld- 2000kgs 150xp-3000kgs Older machines 90xp- 1950kgs 150ld-2000kgs 150xp-2800kgs These are based on our std spec but remember there are vast options.
  12. I'm sorry to! This is the second one I have heard of this week, I think for every one we read of on here there is equally one that is not a member. The other I have heard of was in Winchester including Disco, saws, wee chipper, log splitter etc, etc all to the tune of £35K. Make sure it's not you next week:thumbdown:
  13. Here are some photos of the first HB20N (25" version) to land in the Uk, lovely looking grinder but unfortunately sold before it touched the floor!
  14. Excellent, that's why my job is so easy 😃
  15. No auto feed 😜
  16. I remember now, we discussed the 18" screened chipper. Incidentally we was planning a trip to France in the next few weeks to view this if your interested? If you want to visit we are open Seven days.
  17. The chipper as above s £12K+ vat complete, as a guess we would deduct approx £1K for removal of axle assembly & then add whatever the swivel mount cost unless you supply yourselves. Removal of the drawbar is easy. All air cooled 79hp turbo & have been fully serviced by ourselves from point of sale. I have just ordered a 90xp from Bandit on a turntable base that will be mounted on a trailer similar to what you want although at double the cost. there could be a chance I could source the base if required.
  18. Here is the first 150ld we have refurbed, this has gone to Denmark today, two others sold but Five left. Both the 90xp & 150ld/150xp will eat everything & anything, there is no shortage of power on any of these models & all 9" & above are fitted with hydraulic top lift/ crush as std.
  19. Some chippers are more tolerant of abuse than others but generally the comments above are correct, there is no substitute for regular maintenance. We have chippers with 17000hrs on.
  20. Richard Blakey or Yorkshire Tree Contractors in Farsley although I know both are very busy.
  21. We have some spare sides available as we had a trailer stolen when the sides were not fitted, they are only std sides but may help with fixing mesh if you don't already have.
  22. Your famous now!
  23. Our pedestrian push pull grinders & our pedestrian self propelled are chalk & cheese, there are no similarities what so ever with these machines. As already commented the self propelled versions will go anywhere, swivel turntable, low ground pressure wheels, hydraulic brakes when grinding, 14hp extra but to mention a few differences.
  24. Apart from the HB19 this is the only model it is not offered on, it is the same hp engine as the 2250xp but that has a larger diameter wheel with 18 teeth.
  25. No we fit it on as low as 27hp petrol & offer a different tooth called a Sabertooth for smaller hp machines.
