1. Might have been some of the guys from Total Tree Care, you'd be in good company with those lads.
2. Not mine, I was roughing it in a nearby hotel overnight in Portlaiose.
3. Looked like a good bit of kit, I think they said it could hand up to 4" material
4. The site is also used for other events like the "Electric Picnic" music Festival. There are lots of structures around the show grounds from this event. Huts, shelters, sculptures - some a bit random but they add interest to the site. Many are functional and were great for sheltering from the rain in an very organic way.
5. A few more pictures form the show.
6. Great show and a good laugh. Spent a couple of days chilling and watching. A good selection of machinery and lots of demo,s. you can get up close and personal with all the kit! Tree climbing was excellent. Team Total Tree Care were doing their thing, Stephen and Phil were excellent. Jo Hedger giving a master class in foot locking setting a rapid time. The masters final was so close. Dave Law taking the trophy, a cracking climb, spot on with the throw line for position. Fantastic prizes for all the guys. stein and Husqy were very supportive
7. Cracking venue and show. Day two tomorrow. Climbing finals, and a run around the trade stands. Need to work out which stand Greg for a nosey. Pictures will follow when I get home
8. Yes, a good day's CPD. A taster more than an in depth study, but for one day they packed plenty in. The drive to Dublin's not a bad as it used to be - under two hours each way. I,m just spoiled living where most of my work is under 10 miles in any direction. Irish wood show tomorrow, now that's a bit further - about 4 hours I reckon.
9. Just wondering if anyone else has attended this one at any of the regional venues. I,d a trip to Dublin for it today, pity there wasn't one closer but hey-ho. covered quite a bit of stuff in a short time. The guys delivering we're spot on, I,m terrible with names but one was Guy .. And the other .....no sorry.. my fault I was late in.
10. Clarke Cunningham Tree Maintenance which was bought over by Clive Richardson but still traded as CCTM and now bought over by M.Large. It,s all change again.
11. What stand are you - M Large is offering free beer on theirs - what's your hook?
