  5. Hey.. chips are a Saturday night treat
  6. Last Saturday night one of my friends ( about 44 19 stone all muscle ) was just going to get some chips before getting the taxi home when he saw a man knocking his girlfriend/wife around and advised that he should not be doing that. The man persisted and started banging her against a door so my friend went over to stop him, the man spun round and caught him his elbow so my friend said he floored him with a left hook and was just getting ready to throw the right when he got up and his wife/girlfriend swung her bag containing a gin bottle into my friends face cutting his mouth ... you just cant win.
  7. James ... I have been looking for some storage crates like the ones you show on your website. I need something that can stack to utilise the height in a new barn. Are they .75 cube and do you mind me asking who supplies them and how much? Dave

  9. My 18 year old son who is waiting to go to Uni asked if he could help today for wages ... in the end I would have got more done on my own
  10. Just for the record matey, I`ve loaded, unloaded and logged every bit of wood I have on my own
  11. Bless ........ just kidding ... belive me, chopping and lugging wood around does not keep you fit
  12. I`ve been at the Yorkshire Show today looking at that option but then I will still need a vehicle to tow it as the orange transit van has the wrong image and the BMW 335 sport would struggle in the wet
  13. Thats the point .. I am going to buy a vehicle to suit delivery method which I think will be Barrow Bags, so maybe something with a tail lift ???
  14. Now thats something you really REALLY dont want to get into
  15. Are you saying that the Barrow Bag is your customers most popular choice ?
  16. Whoever could accuse you of being negative Steve I used to own petrol stations where you need a property costing 800k to sell your product and at £1.20 per litre your lucky to make 3p and then most people buy it on credit card so you pay 1.35% commission to the card companies putting you in negative profit on a prduct that up to 1% evaporates in your tanks before you get chance to sell it and that was the good points ... this firewood lark looks a doddle.
  17. I am considering only doing Barrow Bags with a truck with electric tail lift.
  18. My X was helping Ann Haslam at Ron Haslams race school at Silverstone a few weeks ago and she described this funny little punk bloke who came in put his kit bag down, went out onto the track and came back and said that was fantastic girls and gave them a kiss and left .. then she was told it was keith Flint he wrote my daughter a Happy Birthday wish the next time My 18 year old son is helping out on Thursday hoping he is there then
  19. That would save me buying the truck with electric tail lift
  20. for example .... nets .. tipped load .. bulk bags .. barrow bags .. cube bags etc etc
  21. What do you experienced Firewood `fellas` `chappies` `professionals` `experts` `gods of wood` `knowledgeable ones` `people wot know summat about it` find is the most popular method of delivery from the customers perspective ? if I may ask
  22. I met a fairy today who granted me one wish. "I want to live forever," I said. "Sorry," said the fairy, "I'm not allowed to grant wishes like that." "Fine," I said, "I want to die when England win the world cup." "You crafty cock!" said the fairy.
  23. The first two were good but then it got very VERY flowery but it was written by Richard Adams .... then again I suppose you lot garrotte and stamp on baby rabbits as well
