  1. Super, pleased it is, we've done over 100 in the last few weeks! Looking forward to having a good anchor in the future haha!
  2. Is this ok? Both trees were the same, doing the other Tuesday. Street trees that had been badly managed before, cut anywhere, so we just had a few years of epicoric growth to work with!
  3. what makes a roundover a roundover? Is it not doing it to pruning point, just cutting anywhere to get a shape?

  11. Got he fungi one, excellent - I'll be able to spot some fungi, nip for a pee(have a quick look at phone) and then relay laods of useful information to my bosses........thanks for making me look clever:thumbup:

  13. I think having a second bridge like drew is a good idea, you'd be unlucky to cut through both!

  15. I'm on my first pair, they're ace! Was stood in water nearly upto the top of them last week and they didn't let a drop in:thumbup:
  16. Thanks for that bud. Got myself a mora hook knife but it came with a rubbish edge, will have a go at getting it good with this method! Do you wet the wet & dry?
  17. What do you use to keep your knives as sharpe as when you first got them? Lovely work on all your posts!
  18. Now there's a good point about the harness. I have seen some folk use them for rigging so it'd be worth bearing it in mind for that too!

  21. When I had a 4x4 Adrain Flux was the best by far.
  22. Na, I'm going to sharpen it not shape it if that's what you meant? Bit of recycling so got to be a good thing...
  23. just a little diddy file, it doesn't make them perfect but certainly better than they were!
