  1. Na, I'm going to sharpen it not shape it if that's what you meant? Bit of recycling so got to be a good thing...
  2. just a little diddy file, it doesn't make them perfect but certainly better than they were!
  3. I'll sharpen it and use it.....I do mine all the time but it's had one to many now. I noticed that every one says you can't sharpen them so keep on buying new ones, that made me think that there must be loads of old ones kicking around. Been off work for the last two months after an opp so rather skint at the mo too so I thought there'd be no harm in asking:001_smile:
  4. Hello there What do you do with your zubat blades once they're blunt and you get a new one? I was wondering if anyone has an old one or two that they don't use anymore? If so, could I have them please? Cheers Geraint

  6. Super, I think I may get one then, woohoo!
  7. does it make it feel a bit snugger? I'm not that big and feel sometimes like the back bad is to big, as in the height of it, would feel better if it went into the small of my back more.
  8. Ta for that, still none the wiser haha! What do you use now Steve? Also, have you heard anything about some new boots coming out?
  9. Forgot about the search function! Just had a little read and it looks like they are a size to small, so, getting an 8 looks like it could be the way to go? Just dont want to go through the hassle of sending them back!
  10. Hiya I'd like to get a pair of airstreams but there's no where round here to try them on. How have you found the sizes compaired to other boots? I have protector lights at the mo in a 7, which fit fine, but all my other shoes are 8's. Be good to get a rough idea before I order some over the net. Ta muchly
  11. Blimmy, gave me a little wibble wobble looking at that, bork! Don't rush the healing, it'll only take longer in the long-run! Hope you're ok dude.
  12. Try taping a magnet to your scabbard, that'll solve that one.
  13. That's spot on bud, bravo:thumbup1: Ta for the advice too. I decided that I'd be madder than a bucket full of frogs to have a go at it on someones elses saw - he's good enough to give me work so i thought I'd be good enough to not break it for him:001_smile: would defo have a dabble on my own saw though. Found a place that's doing it for £50 so all's good. Ta again for all advice chaps:thumbup1:
  14. Not the same person chap but ta for the pic, interesting to see it! where are you based?

  17. Hello again, thanks for the responce and sorry for the late reply, been having to work away. I worked with the chap today and it's still not mended, are the kits you talk about easy enough to fit and where would one get one from? Thanks for your advice so far chaps.
  18. Thanks for the info bud. Got the lead done now worries but when he went to put a new plug in it just went in and out the hole without tightening, threads have gone! managed to put the old one back in and get it to nip up but I wouldn't trust it! Could he get the head re-threaded? If so, how much would something like that be? Thanks for your time Ger
  19. Hello there chaps Has anyone got a MS441 cylinder head they would like to sell? One of the chaps i work with saws spark plug hole threads have stripped, is there any other way of mending it apart from a different head? Cheers
  20. I'll second the petrol in the oil tank. Had the same problem with a 346xp, Bob stripped everything down and cleaned it, also swapped parts with another one but it still didn't work. Then i just emptied oil tank, stuck a little petrol in it, ran it for a wee while and it sorted it out good and propper. Must be the little filter in the tank!
  21. Hello I've got change the HT lead on a MS441. Was just wondering if it's an easy enough job and if there's anything I should look out for? Cheers
