not bad trucks alittle low to the ground for going off tarmac. if buying new with the 3 year parts and labour warrenty see if you can extend it to 4 years i think it only cost an extra 200 quid, well worth it imo.

hi,i will try to get some pics this week,they are filled with inhibitor fluid when put in storage by mod...so should run maybe a little tinkering who knows? all have 25 inch bar(windsor) and windsor or oregon chain with lots of life left.chain breaks on all saws,some have a box/create they came in.....had 032 stihl running today and cut a load of logs,not a bad old saw.

just having a spring sort out in one of our barns and came across a job lot of chain saws i bought off the mod at auction many years ago.the chain saws are danarm 1-7-1 and1-7-1ss all have 25 inch bars. anybody used one or any feedback/ comments on them?i have 6 of the above chain saws so ill stick them on classifieds/ fleebay.the saws were put into mod storage on 15/12/93....also have found a 032 av stihl plus a few wizzer saws.

yep,you see plenty of td5 discos with high miles on them for 2k ok if service with them.

hi, range rover classics are good tow motors but imo rust buckets and expensive to run even on gas. go for series 2 disco or a defender.

hi,a friend of mine has for sale a wessex(jenson)518 pto chipper on a home built unbraked trailer. the chipper has its own hyd rollers and only needs a12v electric supply .chipper works ok used it the other day.it does not have any anti strees system fitted but its not a major problem.

hi,you need at least a 1000w (1KW)for your angle grinder so id look at the 1.5- 2.0 kw gennys. stay clear of chinese made ones with the fake honda style engines,they are sh*t and not worth buying.

yes ,it will slow the leak down but either fit a pair of new swivel balls(NOT A BAD JOB)or fill your pitted holes up with araldite or liquid metal then when its dry and hard sand down till its smooth. its does work and lasts for a good while but long aset off swivel balls are needed.

rear pads need to be a quality make like mintex or similar,also just check rear disc calipers are free and not seized.dont bother fitting britpart sh*t part stuff just fit quality parts which is cheaper in the long run.

had the same conversation as youre self,but managed to do mine a few years ago on the grovenour estate at chester as they had a few large trees which were suitable for the course.having trouble finding some where local to do my windblown/storm damaged ,but threres no rush ....yet!

yeh,235s are std size but if i go bigger my speedo will be wrong and on td5s they are digtal so lots of dosh. some td5s did have problems but 300tdi are prone to cracking heads,"p" gaskets leaking etc.etc.

ditto,my 110 300tdi will do the same,but my 110 td5 will sit at 70 with 3.5 tons behind it both landys on 235 bfg muds!

Land rovers could be forced to slow down on motorways if government proposals are brought in. Models with more than eight seats could be limited to 65mph on motorways, while those with a gross weight of 3.5 tonnes or more-130-inch Defenders, say- may be restricted to 60 mph on motorways.
