  2. i have been using a 200t for the last 15 years one handed most of the time and still have all my digits and limbs. if i was told that i could no longer use it then i am afraid it would and will be used and would go out and buy quite a few to keep in stock.
  3. when i started with fountain forestry back in 91 my first climbing rope was 3 starnd with a METAL eye in it and the old willans with no legs loops(ace for branch walking). we only had a static drum chipper with no feed rollers at all would chip it if you could get the drum to catch it and all the brash was pulled around in petrol transit panel vans with a 16ft twin axle flat bed with 6ft bars on the sides and the " if you cant get it on try mashing it down a bit attitude". god i miss the good times:thumbup:
  4. its to with the new clauses that insurance companys have been putting into household policies and now are starting to apply to commercial insurance the nfu have asked me this year if ANY convictions before issueing policy:sneaky2:

  6. sorted i deleted my history and cookies and i can get my daily fix:thumbup:
  7. I am still getting the same deprecated when I try and get on steve so have had to use my mobile which is hard work
  8. including postage £250 it had a new 18 inch bar and chain on last year, since then has only cut up some beech as i only use stihl and kept this one as a back up saw it has done some work as you can tell by looking at it but has never been hammered. cheers dave

  16. i agree with you on the cenotaph issue a old boy i play skittles with was bought to tears watching it those STUDENTS/THUGS need a harse example of real life for example taking to a field in middle of no where and beaton to a pulp
  17. i buy alot of used but like new stihl kit from a business in belper she is on ebay her user name in emmafudge really nice women and really good condition kit too
  18. same thing i had any notification i sent in was rejected on basis of not being on an appoved map. took up with planning officer and member of staff involved received a written warning in the end after 6 seperate notifications went in so if you get no joy speak to your planning officer
  19. whilst it is sad for the tree the locals in glasto really need to leave the non prescrition drugs alone.
