  2. That's reassuring to know thanks.
  3. That's what I thought and if it's made it to 113k it shouldn't hopefully be a lemon as poor J had trouble on low miles.
  4. Sorry may have mis read, Do you want a price for someone to do it or just curious what people would charge and you do it?
  5. Where are they?
  6. If it's cut and collect these are brilliant designed to bounce up kerbs very heavy duty I even cut rougher river walk paths with mine, It is solely a cut and collect machine ie no pto.
  7. Do you cut under trees and bushes as out fronts are ideal for this if not i would get an under belly deck compact.
  8. A mates got an Adventura 08 plate never worked used as a car but done 113k miles only selling as he getting a company truck. Can get it half the price of a. 59 plate tekna with 70,000 Should I be put off by the mileage? I only do abt. 8,000 miles year.

  11. Was definitely the D40 that was from a service manager at Glyn Hopkin will check exactly what he said and post back, He initially put me off but Navara seems the best driving truck I've tried.
  12. What model do you have Steve ? Any problems?
  13. I'm looking at the Tekna which is fairly well loaded with gadgets, One has done 100k miles job to know if to go for a lower mileage or perhaps a higher one might already had the jobs done??
  14. I've found it's not what you know but who you know in getting your foot in the door! I've got parish councils, Business centres, sub to one of the country's biggest landscape firm and do a bit for a borough council all through people I know or knew. Sorry not much of a help I know.
  15. Thanks Peter, Got the Landy for off road stuff, It will be my car and spare work truck . Do you find it comfortable enough on say 100 mile trips etc?
  16. I have read some of the previous posts about pickups and want to know from people who actually own one. At 6ft 8" it seems to be the most comfortable pickup for me, Drives great but have heard there are transmission problems. I'm looking at 2010 plate with either 169 or 190 hp ones I'm looking at have around 65000 miles. Have you had any real issues ? Or should I steer clear etc?
  17. They are really good on juice they drink LOADS!!
  18. Look at buying privately and save ££'s on used dealer prices for trucks, Take someone who knows there way around a truck so you don't get your fingers burnt, There are bargains out there.
  19. Very true! Try adding a middle aged woman to the policy as a named driver either your Mum or partner brought my premium down a lot! But obviously don't let them drive your pride and joy :-)
  20. I got this just as a spare truck paid £1500 for it it's earned that 3 times over in two months. Not the nicest thing to drive but a work horse I am in my twenties and insurance is £300 quid. Go for it and best of luck
  21. Temporary effort 3 sheets ply does the job for now.
  22. Been pulling various vehicles out of flood water with the Discovery .
  23. Did any one else experience the mini tornado that went through Essex at about 16:40 this Saturday?
  24. Hi Rob, Have you a local dealer who would let you use a CS100 for a couple days on demo to get a feel for one? There is certainly a 'Nak' of feeding one which you get used too. If you were financing one it wouldn't be much more p/m for a used bigger machine.
