  2. Spot on advice from all you guys! Appreciate the vote of confidence, and your own advice and what you've all done to get the ball rolling! Amazing what you can buy if you look a little deeper aswell! Are their any good websites out there worth having a look for chipper tippers? Something that won't burst the bank and gets those Saturday jobs rolling in haha! Thanks again for all comments and help given!
  3. Yes I have a close mate whose slightly older but has said he's willing to help out here and there when needs be! Yh again good idea haha, the old mans gotta come in handy for something I guess 👍 that should bring the insurance down a little! Thank you very much mate!
  4. Yh I coming up to 20 so that price would be similar for me roughly although varies on location! Yh good point, think the ldv or transit tipper would be the best option!
  5. Thanks. Appreciate all feedback on this.. Made me consider some slightly different options !
  6. That's a good option I hadn't thought of actually! The only setback I'm thinking would be the insurance for a male my age would be rather high? Do you need a trailer license no matter the size of the trailer, or can you get away without one up to a certain weight?
  7. Yh I just had in my head a non tipper, just in my head would be a standard pick up truck and a trailer. I would love a chipper but are they not a lot more expensive than a nothing fancy pick up and trailer just to get the wheels in motion for the time being? Thanks for the feedback!
  8. I work with a company Monday - Friday, and am keen to get my own name recognized around my area etc.. Km 19 and keen to do some jobs for myself on a Saturday. Of course at this stage I don't have savings for a van and chipper, so would I be able to get away with a truck and decent sized trailer for Saturday work? Just wondered if anyone out there does this themselves or what other ways there's could be? Thanks, Harry!
  9. Hi fellas, I'm Harry, from outskirts of London/surrey.. Been climbing 6 months now and love it. Already loving this forum, helpful tips and advice covering all angles.
  10. Hi guys, I'm new on here, and wanted to say I gained nptc 30.31,38,39 at the start of July and have been climbing daily for a company based in tolworth (greater london) since. I work Monday to Friday and absolutely love it, but wanted to say I am available occasionally on Saturdays for an extra pair of hands whether that's grounding or climbing just so I can gain more experience and techniques from other guys. Thanks!
