    Ground clearance is fine I tow mine offroad regularly through woods, Ruts over mounds had no problems whatsoever to date...

    I would recommend a brian james too on the tippers the bed height is lower than others so much easier to load ride ons, Diggers etc.

    I've got some second hand thick rubber squares from a playground landscaping job we did they will probably work well but I've yet to try them.

    I had an 03 plate LDV Tipper with the Transit running gear, although not the nicest thing to drive it was a dam good work horse and only cost £1500 with full years MOT
