  3. You have judged me well SWB, Mother earth fills me with a joy I cannot measure, each and everyday I find awe inspiring things to learn about, photograph and just revel in. This is more than just work to me, My eyes light up when i see old wood!

  5. I would do the tech cert then the FdSc, employers seem to rate the tech cert bigtime.
  6. Your going to have a long and productive career lad, if your eyes in at 17 and you get some big wood in before too long youll be well on your way. I would employ you any day of the week.

  16. The blue is probably due to you having an indoor or fluorescent tube lighting set on the camera, go for daylight clody or sunny next time! the blue tint is normal and is to counter act the orange hue of indoor lighting!
  17. i reckon thats a fair shout monkey, not found any clubs out my way so no familiarity with them, there is probably some scope/spore thing to be certain of id, but that looks a pretty close call.

  19. You say futile, but imagine if through time the roots made contact with the ground through its decaying centre and managed to form two trees? What if the occlusion form strong ribs so that on failure the ribs stayed intact while the fibres buckled on the outer edge letting the foliag touch ground, layer and walk on, as in the Ents! love the concept of ecological time!
  20. Not an outlandish estimate, it is well known, around 30 metres of mycelium in a single gram of soil! I apologise for the repeat entry.
