  7. True, but I'm never one to let a stroke puller go easily. I would also have told him that the arisings formed part of the value of the payment so he owed more for the job, not less.
  8. I would have argued that the job was the job and removal of all arisings from the site which was done. It's up to you how you remove them and what he did was a unilateral variation of terms ie a breach of contract. I hate people like that with a passion.
