  1. It's the old Nuremberg defence. Not generally successful. ?
  2. If he told you to go and hit the customer, would you be liable then if you did it?
  3. That's overdoing it, Eggs.
  4. Westphalian's baby batter?
  5. Terry was a very proud dad of two boys. RIP, fella. Thought are with your family.
  6. If you have done work on an hourly rate for them before then they have a reference point so you would be on safer ground as you are working on an established basis. A thumbnail of the case I named is basically that a company was attempting to rely on T&C's that were only available after the contract was made. Lord Denning upheld that it was unreasonable for them to do so.
  7. The argument would be the argument in Thornton v Shoe Lane Parking, that the 2nd invoice was too late for the OP to rely on its T&C's as it was given after the fact, so denying the customer the chance to reject them. Even if the OP went down the reasonable cost route, how would he prove the extent of the work?
  8. Civil cases are decided on balance of probability, not beyond all reasonable doubt, so it comes down to who tells the best tale. If the OP confesses that he did the work without first giving a price, it doesn't put his claim in a good light.
  9. Indeed. Get what money you can and give him the caravan club's number if he's got the front to book you in again.
  10. You're going to end up signing the register, weirdo. ?
  11. You were doing the interview, weren't you?
  12. Would it do any good to leave a copy of the quote on site so there is no room for arguments? If your guys can have written evidence to fall back on then they might feel more secure in refusing.
  13. Not sure but they are all lovely chaps. Known them all for years.
  14. I used to work in the casino industry. I could introduce you to quite a few chaps that can accommodate an erection.
  15. Hope he doesn't do what you do in there.??
  16. Look at the Sevylor(?) range and I would recommend fitting a skeg.
  17. As long as they aren't obnoxious or causing a problem I don't have a problem with it.
  18. I thought the whole point of the reverse thread was so the rotation tightened the head onto the machine as it ran?
  19. Have you had a shift through this? If not, you might find what you want. https://www.webmotoculture.com/329-guide-chaine-tronconneuse-zenoah
  20. My point was that you can find the correct mount code which you need before you even get to pitch and gauge. Going by the code in the link, your bar is not a KO95 mount like the bar on Ebay. Carlton, Windsor and Oregon are all the same company. Ozaki is a more budget brand and sold commonly on Ebay over here.
  21. I just googled your saw and got hits all in French. Here's one link which should get you a head start. The bar shown is the wrong pitch and gauge bit it says others are available. If nothing else , it should help you find the right mount type. https://www.webmotoculture.com/guide-chaine-tronconneuse-zenoah/1601-guide-chaine-tronconneuse-zenoah-50-cm-38-050-70-dents-3000312675290.html
  22. The bar on Ebay is relisted so chances are you will get it cheap if you bid on it. If you do and it doesn't fit, I expect you will resell easy enough. If it's cheap enough, I'll have it off you for stock as it would fit my 357. I would try Googling that serial number first though as it might save you some time.
  23. That's the bar I meant on Ebay but I don't know if it fits your saw. You could either try Googling the serial number on your bar to see what saws it fits which will then hopefully widen your search terms or you could try contacting RobD from chainsawbars.co.uk on here. My choice would be Rob.
  24. What mount is it? There is one to fit a Husqvarna KO95 mount on Ebay starting at £12.
  25. I'm guessing it's more a reference to a common symptom of Candida, namely an irritating ....?
