  1. does your company use there own set generic to suit there set up or did it addapt to try and operate to the aa set generic, i presume you use the same form set up, it does seem to be the only simple solution
  2. i do it to, but i use the set form and generic of the aa scheme, its a ball ache to do the backstage stuff, but it would appear that they have covered it pretty well and is all basically just a legal requirement of hs act, petrol storage pesticide signing afag guides etc,
  3. you may be more on the button there, without being rude does it not seem that the older we get and more battered, we look for that role of foreman and accept that its purely prolonging the career in the industry, the wages probably reflect it to,how many times do you see companies with 4-5 gangs out offering such roles with large salaries,
  4. ok the biggest problem with it is that for 5 or less than employees you dont need it, and when you do try to carry out ra with small firms, trying to implement best practice as set by possible generic contents of AA ra, it is seriously time consuming and boils down to the cost benefit analysis of it all again,
  5. its no wonder adi left you with that kind of big brother antics, lol, winkwink
  6. i know arb managers that get 34k per year, but foreman id say 28-30k max, but you would have to be a bloody productive up to date chap

  9. evening mr rotherham, im presuming you mean similiar to that given on aa risk assessment course, works well for me, although it would have to be adjusted to give better job/task spec space i think, for companies sending out gangs
  10. i use tap n turn system liston equip put me onto it, so efficient

  15. try and go for the 30 session course at westonbirt if you do. the surroundings are more relevant and the bs5837 stuff is more hands on, which is often the achilles heel for most on mang day
  16. hama, dont mean to be rude, but from reading previous threads are you not doing the fdsc course, your quarms about it are unfounded in my opinion, you write very well in here, i must add though, you are often in here tbh, and that may add to your inability to complete coursework etc lol, seriously stick at the fdsc, its there for the taking, i just finished tc in oct 09,now doin pd at syston, its solid and well out depth but nowt comes easy anymore, just thought id say thats all. hope have not offended you.

  20. just caught up with this thread, took me nearly an hour, how fast do you boys type, i always thought that epicormic/adventitious growth was a reaction to the pruning, and a trees natural process in regaining foliage from where its get energy from photosynthesis via sunlight, energy needed to enable the tree to repair/occlude any pruning wounds created.
