  1. there was a bank of about 2ft and the rest is snow ! i jumped in later that day ! ha il put a piccy up in a min its quite funny
  2. yes it is ! i took these pictures in the morn and by the afternoon the plough couldnt even get through ! unbelievably and no word of a lie i had to pull out someone who was on a driving lesson !!!!!!!!! wtf
  3. yeh finding a decent one is bloody hard but they do come up and its definatly worth waiting for , i paid 4450 i think there is a green R reg (1998 last of 300 tdis) on ebay at mo might be worth having a gander at !
  4. like wise ! ben towing people out all day ! but everyone has short arms and long pockets round here ! while theres no work on i thought i might stick some signs on the landy and sit at the botoom of the steepest hill and wait for the village idiots to come crawling past in there mercede SLK s 20 qiud a tow ! thank you
  5. well for me personally ive always loved the 300 ,s but my first td5 suffered with all the usual oil in the wiring harness replaced it twice and cleaned the ecu etc but it always felt unreliable starting , my second one was better but then the fuel pump had issues and kept on whining which drove me insane so i was more than happy to go back to the 300 ! :thumbup1:i guess ive owned 300 tdis for around 8 years and NEVER touch wood had any problems at all apart from usual litttle things like prop ujs etc , alot of people i know love the td5 and if you get a good one ther bullet proof but for me personally id never buy again
  6. thanks geoff yeh shes a hicap had it bout 6 months ive felt like a landy dealer over the last year ive bought and sold 4 the last two were td5s:thumbdown: and when i saw this in such good nick i couldnt resist ! only done 62,000 miles so this ones a keeper ! prob having a tipper fitted soon

  9. glad your ok mate ! could have been alot worse ay ! not sure how ?but it could have been i remember a couple of years ago i was helping a neighbour lift some wood over a wall so me being me wanted to lift the biggest bit and just as i was about to put it over the wall i got stung right on the nipple ! at witch point i drop the wood straight on my foot and broke 2 toes !! double wammy ! .................. it was not a good day
  10. i just dont get who would pay those prices for a meter square bag that on average probably only lasts 2 maybe 3 weeks ?? my customers would shove itn right up my &^%$e:thumbdown:

  12. just been browsing the wonderfull web on log prices and i came across a company called LOGS2U any one heard of them ? sorry not sure on how to put link up ? but there prices are as follows £150 .00 dumpy bag kiln dried logs £120.00 " " seasoned logs £99.00 " " Unseasoned logs ?? any one else think that is sodding ridiculas or is it just me ? oh but its ok though cos there firelighters are only a Quid ! lol
  13. they forcast 14 inches where i live by 2morow afternoon ! and im not gona lie !!!!! I LOVE IT :thumbup:apart from all the usual traffic last year we had it bad i made 150 quid for towing people out of trouble ! think i just managed to be in the right place at the right time ! and i bloody well wasnt gona waste my time and fuel for free now was i !

  15. guy i work for has about 40 lengths in his yard !all street trees that had dutch elm , cutting them down quicker than he can get rid of ! he swears by it too once its seasoned , i tried some the other night that i cut down about six monthes ago mixed it with some really well seasoned horsechestnut and it went up a treat and kept burning for ages

  18. hey peeps HAPPY NEW YEAR !:thumbup1 just trying to sort out finances and all that jazz , can any one tell me how much roughly you get to claim back for college courses and nptc tickets etc ??? only went self employed last feb so still getting my head round all this many thanks

  22. i thought you would be a long shortly to put us right ! well maybe that is the case then i just remember a few years back buying a full length one for my ninety and is 250 quid so i reckoned 1 thats a third the size would be cheaper !
  23. yes your right aborist brownchurch do do them but im sure you can get them cheaper than 250 quid ??? cant you ? im sure paddocks used to do them , thanks mozza checked ebay but there all full length ones
  24. hey guys, having trouble trying to find a roof rack to fit the cab section of my pickup have tried all the usual suspects (paddock spares ,john craddocks etc but no one seems to stock them any more ? ideas any one
