  1. I did. It jammed lots which was due to a show goer messing with it apparently. When it jams you seem to carry on trashing lots of wood until it clears rather than stop and clear problem. The bags seem to only be loaded randomly. The infeed conveyor for square wood looks very short. You need to stand on the step to get over the machine. Its physically large so will fill up your workshop. It is £1500 more than our kindlet we bought. It runs on 3 phase or pto ? no mention of single phase. I was not impresssed but you need to go and see it as shows are the best place for machines to play up. Could actually work if set up right.
  2. I could do with some transport or someone that can deliver beech cord wood or similar To Andover.
  3. I use a .63 chain on my processor which has .58 bar but I need the correct chain to wear the bar a bit first if that makes sense. Reason being stihl chain much better than oregon on my Hakki pilki.
  4. There was a transit on the tv the other night the police pulled for being over weight he showed a ticket being about 300kg over. The police did not believe him and weighed it 5600kg Daves new transit does not look over weight and if it does creep over I would think a slap on the wrist should be the most you will get. Look at it another way if it was legally loaded you could put an unbraked trailer of 700kg on the back ( what does that do for your brakes )
  5. £160 would like to charge more but alot of folk are struggling at the moment
  6. Built by Boulters Tippers of Tadley. Highly recommended, new ram, new pump, new lights and brackets, slide out divider, steel floor with tye downs. Anodised aluminium sides. Not over built but right for the job.
  7. Payload a bit of a grey area but 750 kg. Body is too well built. With a few mods and a later truck I think you could get to 900kg. With vat and all the extras it cost just short of £3000
  8. Thanks had it on the road about 2 months a joy to use should have done it sooner. The raised hinge means logs dont jam. 2 Cube out in one hit.
  9. If anyone requires kindling in essex/ suffolk area I may be able to get someone to share delivery costs with you.
  10. I think long term people will have to take their first load in the summer. This frees up our storage space for deliveries in the winter. Otherwise we have to pay for wood, wages and storage 6 months before we see any return. Any cost I incur have to be passed on to the customer so its in both parties interest to make it efficient.
  11. If you are going to process square timber kindlet is the only machine with infeed conveyor that will do it as far as I know.
  12. There are better machines on the market but they are 2 or 3 times the price. I have a pilki 2x which is now 9 years old and done a huge amount of work. Its simple and robust and has good spares back up from M large tree. At 6.5k + vat its a good machine for a one or two man band. 35k machines are not perfect and you will need to fill an aircraft hanger with logs for 5 years to get your money back.
  13. You can cut stuff with a slight curve as long as its not near the max 37cm
  14. This timber has never been on site just off cuts from a joinery shop. Would this be any good to you john. We could load with bobcat can get an 8 wheeler in. We have a lot of hardwood in the loads but too small for logs wood mix in well for pellets or brickettes
  15. Its untreated but I can see one piece in there thats treated. We can only turn untreated into kindling. The green stuff is tanilith but there is a new treatment which is almost clear but the jury is still out as to whether it can be burnt on a fire. For now we are only processing untreated.
  16. If they wanted seasoned wood they would have bought it in March
  17. I have about ten builders bags of softwood off cuts. These are too small for a kindlet. Its all new kiln dried construction off cuts. Could have about 4 bags a week soon. I have listed on ebay to see if there is any interest but if anyone wants some at very special rates ( especially if you clear the lot ) let me know. Any other ideas for it welcome. Seems a shame to put it on the open fire outside.
  18. Load proportioning valve seized ? I have same on rear of my disco 2 van few thousand miles pedal pulsing up and down but not coming through steering. I think genuine parts may be on order soon as the mintex stuff may not be as good noticed the discs rust quicker when parked up sort of points to quality of steel.
  19. I got stung on the hand about a month ago and it swelled like a football . Apparently the thing to do is take piriton immediately. Not the clarytyn hayfever ones but the cheap and chearful piriton or own brand. My sting itched for days:willy:
