  3. basic maintenance on the chipper eg show how to check oil. how you would change the blades fings like that but you dont do it. if its a tracked chipper drive, load and offload the chipper. and do abit of chipping. peice of p**s

  6. :thumbdown:gutted you have to do 5 of each we only hade to do 2 of each. dont go on google and copy and paste cos they no straight away. best way is a book and put it in your own words. its prity easy. start with wat you no then use a book or internet. but DONT copy and paste every 1 got found at last time.
  7. 21 people started the corse i did a few years ago and 7 of us finished it . and only 5 of us did are climbing tickets rest of them was been big girls
  8. when i did my cs39 at college last year we was told you can use the saw 1 handed as long as if the saw kicks back its not going to hit you or your ropes. im not the best of climbers but i use the saw 1 handed when taking limbs of. never when choggin down tho. to safe working

  10. Rite.. iv been asked to get a cscs card, so that i can contract to a company that works on building sites. Iv looked at the websites and just dont understand wich card i need to apply for and how i train for it. i know its some sort of health and safety test but i dont no how to practice for the test. as i can not find any website that offers the training. as it is £75 i dont want to book somefing i dont have a clew about and not no wich card i need. any help would be great thanks
  11. looking for work in the huddersfield area . iv been working now for about 3 years so i do have abit of experience. got my own climbing kit and a 200t and a 341. i have my. cs30 cs31 cs38 cs39 mepw chainsaw from a mewp chipper pa1/pa6 level 1 in horticulture first aid manual handling and my apprenticeship in trees and timber if iterested contact Ross on 07854414025

  14. nooo i noo the price is rite cos i worked at the company for 2 years and not wat there like . and the lad who i was going to do it with the client is sumfing to do with his mum . well as you say rather him then me. cos there was no way i was goin near it
  15. just went to look at job. the work to be done was a prity big confier over a road with power lines about a foot away. there was also 2 pines to come down they also hade power lines in the middle of them . there was also about 20ft to come of 6 over pines and aload of small trees to be reduced. i cant belive that they can price soo little for the work and work soo close to the power lines. its not even a power line company that is doing the work. the client even said that no body said anything about tuning it off. how the hell can you compete with that. i beats me

  17. im a 32 32. so i tryed a small and the legs was too short so i hade to get medium the legs are fine but the waist is far too big you could fit another of me in them. and when i pull them tight with a belt it looks like a have a hardon all the time they are silly fiting but there bloody good trousers
  18. hate them its just sooo nasty when i did my first it was a red hot day so i was in a t shirt and after id done, it looked like id been draged threw a hawthorne hedge 3 or 4 times and my rope was a sticky mess

  22. aha thats funny . iv hade a few stihl chains that have had 2 cutters next to each over or 2 lefts in a row without a right. but that just takes the biscuit
