  1. i used to have this problem when i dint have a spliced eye. i just used to clip my karabiner back onto my sliding d ring. and even tho i have a splised eye i still do this.
  2. hi everyone. not sure if there has been any thing on this or not. but i dont realy understand what this is for. could it be used as a prusik and attatch the ring to ur harness with a karabiner? :confused1: Sirius ringloop 8mm x 35cm | F R Jones and Son

  7. i got one at apf and i love it fits my pea head like a glove . hade a vertex and it seemd to just balence on my head and woble about alot. there abit on the warm side but very comfy

  10. i think the other guy using the saw is just a laboer aswel. it sounds to be prity bad cos its cut a fair bit of bone aswel.

Got a txt off my best mate tonite sayin one of our frend was in a accident at work wilst using a chainsaw. my mate is 20 and he works as a builder. from what iv been told a guy was us chainsaw to cut a stump down whilst my mate was tryin to push the stump over at the same time. the guy using the saw has gone straight threw the stump and into my mates leg and made a real mess of it. none of them hade any PPE on training in use of a chainsaw. i guess this will probly be a HSE investigation. as my mate is only a laborer and was probly doin what he was told to do. would he be able to claim from this ?

  15. i got it from forest and arb.co.uk i think. and its 13mm and im not sure steve one of them was 11mm and i think my last one was a xtc or something. but i want using ocean polyester at the time. could it have been the two diffrent friction cords that have made the diffrence?
  16. 7 times !!!! bloody hell he dose need shooting. im not the sharpist tool in the box but i found it soo easy. finished it in 10 mins
  17. its good stuff that ocean polyester seems to last a long time too. soon as i passed my cs 38 i moved onto a vt and unless somefing els as good and as cheep comes about it will always be a vt.
  18. im using 8mm ocean polyester with spliced eyes on each end. thats good stuff aswel
  19. Marlow wasp. Is anyone els climbing on one? Igot one as my 3rd rope and i love it, climb with a vt and it runs soo much better then it did on my other ropes. and at £63 for 35m with spliced eye i dont think you could go wrong . anyone els got any views on them? to marlow on that one
  20. thanks for the help every one ill have to get my self this book sounds good . allways willing to learn iv been in touch with your dad will hopefully get something sorted out soon. youl have to show me a thew things
  21. not done much rigging but did a bit over day wich i loved. has anyone got any usefull tips i could use cheers ross
