  3. lovely bit of kit that. like some others have said have u thought of makeing a chipbox for it?
  4. ive known people with alergys to conifer sap. maybe its same thing but with pine sap. not end of the world if its that, just dont do pines hope it all works out for ya anyway.
  5. my motivation is that eventually i want to own my own big tree company and do very high standard tree work and be the best in my area. and the fact im doing loads of really cr*p jobs atm doesnt matter cause my future will be easier

  7. i dout very much you will find anywhere closer theres very few places in norfolk a hour to a shop is normal in these parts unfortunatly lol.

  9. at the end of the day as long as your son is happy and smileing then your doing a top job at being a dad. nothing wrong with doing what hes happy doing if he wants to do team sports and swimming etc, he will do that at school and find out if he likes it. i wouldnt worry about it.
  10. id have said was the battary cause the belt wasnt that loose really.
  11. got it all sorted we had battary charging up all last night, put that on fully charged and tightened up the hydraulic pump belt. she works again cheers guys.
  12. we usually work side by side with about 1/2 trees inbetween the ones we are felling that way we no there always out the way. sometimes in small woodlands we will just walk to the middle one guy goes one way other guy goes other way.

  14. will do, but wouldnt that have stoped the rollers alltogether straight away?
  15. when they did move they fully rotated once then stoped for about 3/4 seconds then rotated again same with reverse. keeping the button pushed in had no effect. we have battary on charge tonight so hopefully fix it tomorow.
  16. plenty of hydraulic oil, the machanics at the shop we phoned they said would be the belts so we tightened them up and still no joy. looks like we will have to check the pump first thing in morning then.
  17. thats happened to us before aswell but this is different we definetly had it on full revs holding it up still nothing. i should add in the rollers are to weak to even feed in anything now.
