  3. i always seem to love this picture from east anglian game fair, me about to go up tree. Its all lovely colours in the trees and sun reflecting in good ways.
  4. you looking for a pulley that the spiced eye can fit through aswell? if not id just use a micro swing cheek pulley.
  5. interesting thread, i was only last week saying at work that i dont think we do enough pollarding these days.

  7. looking for odd days work here and there in the norfolk, suffolk, essex regions. have got all saws, climbing, lowering equipment. nptc cs30,31,38,39. first aid trained, hard working, reliable, climbing or groundwork. many thanks
  8. guy from meridian was groundy with me and another guy i no was doing the cutting in platform.
  9. he just didnt want to climb it he used a mewp instead.
  10. the tree was in such bad shape the guy didnt want to climb it had really bad major limbs with cracks through it all the main stem was all rotten had some brackets on right at the top and usual horsechestnut bleeding canker all down the fresh snow.
  11. she was very lucky she was knocked to the floor but the kink in the branch hit the deck first then over her so she went to hospital etc but only minor injurys apparently very lucky indeed.
  12. got the full story. the branch snaped off on friday afternoon fell onto a lady under it and smashed to cars. got the ok from the tree officer to fell the tree desided to have a platform as the guy didnt really fancy climbing it. anyways heres the pictures. first pic is part of the branch that fell off then goes on to how we left it this evening they all going back tomorow to fell it and ring it up.
  13. well i take it fire crews or the tree surgeon who phoned me up to clear it up tomorow has sorted getting the people out lol i have got very limited whats happened at the moment will tell the full story tomorow.
  14. ive been called up to help with a job tomorow, seems a tree in a hotel in kings lynn has fallen over traping 2 people. thats all i no so far will keep you all posted tomorow with hopefully some pictures aswell.
  15. exactly how i feel i hate all the small stuff. but all small stuff is worth it with one good massive tree all feels worth while then.

  19. personally wouldnt want to climb in them. Alright if you was on the ground though.
  20. just stoped snowing now but this is what it looks like out my bedroom window.
  21. only time its been open this week was like half hour to a hour monday morning inbetween me getting my stuff out and my dad left for work after me. still least its the least expensive of the stuff they could have taken they left the 3120xp and my spare ms200t my winch load of lowering stuff its all abit strange really.
