  1. I think this thread needs a soundtrack (listen to the lyrics ) [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HG7woCQkGUw]Cat Stevens - Matthew & Son (1966) - YouTube[/ame]
  2. No, that's the smell of your balls sweating from wearing type c's
  3. Oh come off it! So the people who wear type a's will almost certainly get a wound like the one posted? I'm more than happy to carry on wearing type a's.
  4. Type c is all round protection, Type A is front protection. (dunno if there's a type b?)
  5. Yeh cos a screaming 200 is really accurate for target pruning a light reduction
  6. Just read this. how come you have a few thousand posts on a tree work forum if you don't like tree work?
  7. My neighbour has one (folding silky that is), it's quite good actually and would be perfect for what you need it for.
  8. I love it now I'm back in domestic tree work. Utility sucks big time, worst 6 months of my working life. Never again!
  9. Try armour prus, best cord I've used so far.
  10. Knut on a 70cm ish 8mm cord works perfectly for me. Always grabs and loose enough to pull slack through easily.
  11. I'll take a picture soon mate, i haven't seen that hedge for a while. The competition hedge has grown nicely though last time i saw it..
  12. Ah wicked, saw them at a village hall a few years back! Some of my mates climbed through the toilet window to get in
  13. Horatio, you've got to expect to be on the receiving end of a bit of banter with such views. Maybe not a jog, but i'm sure we all get a brisk stroll on when the going gets tough Goodnight.
  14. Meow!
  15. ahem 1992.... Two of my old workmates went to the gig. Quite jealous.
  16. You sound like you'd fit in well with the OP's company. You could work each others c$%k's off!
  17. Do you account for jogging in the RA?
  18. Oh yeh i forgot, glasto 2003, REM and Radiohead - wow!

    Breaking Bad

Not sure what breaking bad is but i'm sick of seeing it mentioned everywhere on the internet this week
  20. I honestly don't know how any company keeps in profit without the staff jogging on the ground. It's got to save at least 5 minutes on a days work.
  21. Yes for a standard B licence. B+E (trailer licence) is different. (i presume this is the case.)
  22. Saw Hendrix in London '68, Janis Joplin at Monterey Festival '69, Led Zeppelin at Madison Square Gardens '73, Nirvana at Reading '94 , they were alright i suppose. (i would give my right bollock for that statement to be true!) Off the top of my head Prodigy at Isle of Wight 06 and Rage Against The Machine at reading 08 were sick.
  23. No, B+E is fine for 3.5t + 3.5t trailer.
  24. Yeh that is pretty crap! A double cab tranny can only hold around 800kg legally, so if a 750kg chipper is behind it, then you can only carry 50kg of chip (i think)
  25. I agree on google being useful but not the 'be all and end all'. A company i'm subbing to at the moment was a one team outfit a year and a half ago, then got ArbAC and now are completely run off their feet with 3 teams of 3 out. Alot of council and commercial work has flooded in. Can't just be a coincidence?
