  1. If it’s mud I take tracks I’ve made a head stock for the Cormidi so it can use all the avant attachments, they do different jobs as a forklift track loaders suck, for flail mowing run tracks no punctures, going long distance on tarmac or concrete use wheels using a bucket both about the same cultivating I take tracks, I adjust the jobs for the lift capacity trying to keep the weights moved as small as possible the Cormidi will tip at 1250kgs but running at that weight regular knackers tracks and rollers very very quickly you always wish you had a bigger one!
  2. The price isn’t too bad when you work out it replaces a man on site for less money than you would pay a groundie for a year
  3. Just remember track loaders are out performed by wheels my avant lifts nearly double the Cormidi
  4. You will need to have your own demo I had Ditchwitch,Vermeer, and kanga on demo Cormidi out performs all in the mud far superior track system smaller engine but more usable drive system lift is similar, but also converts into dumper pic are same machine just different fronts outlifts Vermeer, better system pressure and variable hydraulics but not as much flow where are you in uk
  5. Try looking at a Cormidi cmf far more machine
  6. So what is it worth £40.00 tonne felled 25 standing?
  7. How many hectares is the plantation?
  8. Can’t change van it’s two years old and supplied by company I sub to, don’t need a tacho but it’s a whole lot of hassle explaining to plod etc that it’s not required. digger will be paid for cash then I pay back each week can extra service be retro fitted?
  9. was thinking kx019-4
  10. Given the weather at the moment I was thinking snorkel and rubber suit
  11. You will find that a chipper is more effective on bodies much smaller pieces and you can was down the drain !!!!and you don’t need a ticket just supervision
  12. Looking at a new mini digger needs to be towed with a transit so no larger than 2 tonnes thinking jcb ,bobcat e19 or tak 219 maybe with tilt rotator any others to look at or miss
  13. Marfell are the best, bosch plunge saws are made in the same mafell factory
  14. You mean like these
  15. Mcpa/ 24d to kill a grass ???
  16. Don’t you just love people who get the job done
  17. Always look at the date on the post before replying !!!
  18. Secret is not to heat up the steel so just a little at a time and keep checking should only be warm to the touch
  19. So how will it work the 90 can’t carry it so you are going to use a trailer then there is the oil cooler and electric supply the chipper will need it’s own hoses, the landrover will have to have a hand throttle fitted and a tacho to show revs . If the idea floated someone would have already got one, the cost will be far more than a engine version plus you will be running on white diesel I see no benefits to a trailed or pto version
  20. I've often wondered this because the force used to get the tree over is from a different direction i.e. upwards not sideways and i worry that with alot of force you could pop the hinge off. The cause of the only major accident I have had felling used a 20 tonne bottle jack on a leaning sycamore popped hinge before pushing tree over only took out telephone wires could have been a lot worse,
  21. How are you intending to power the chipper with the pto?
  22. Including high heels?
  23. Ok I go first poplar
  24. But very funny
