No maybe I didn't iterate... Im in a huge oak, and retie my tip as you say, with a bowline, I aint gonna be going back up at the end of the climb to ddrt down at the end... Can you make it retrievable from the ground?

Id definitely have a hobbs over GRCS. We make do with a crappy porta but we have taken down some beasts with minimal kit... A little imagination goes a long way.
