  1. Lets not start the Brit/Yank conversation again... Looks to me like they got the job done without breaking anything, even rigging out some nice big leads. Get the job done and go home in one piece. Peace.
  2. Maybe put it in the GARDENING thread??
  3. I thought this was an ARB forum, not a gardening forum. Jus sayin
  4. Give Fletcher Stewart a call.
  5. I subbed to Glendale 6 years ago, used my own kit. 90 a day.
  6. Here was the evening... Beer, followed by pool and beer, then a delivery of vindaloo to the pool hall, live jazz, then scrabble... I left after they started scrabble...
  7. Off into Greenwich village to meet Russell Plumb for pool and beer. Bank holiday tomorrow. Will probably fall asleep in the train on the way home!
  8. Nice way to end the thread Andy! In all seriousness, Silky you have done an excellent thing, got thru a tough time with the help of AT, a wonderful thing. Proves chivalry will never die, and gives me hope.
  9. Haha. Yeah it was a big one for sure. To remove it manually I would say 3 days total... one day with a crane. But its stopping which is good.
  10. Should have video'd it man. Only ever seen him climb, not cut.
  11. Yesterday me and Santiago, a climber I had never worked with before, deadwood, thin, pruned from over house and 2 banks of wires, this large oak right in the corner of a backyard. It was a big old boy, easy enough. This is Santiago, from Salvador, posing.
  12. Last nights ball game. Free food, all you could eat! Mountains of lobster and shrimp, crazy. No free booze though! $15 for a beer. Amazing seats, right behind the bat. Basically its glorified rounders, but they get paid millions!
  13. Me? I'm off to my first (and probably last) baseball game. NY Yankees at yankee stadium. And my lady got us in with all the celebs, including the mayor. Free champers, lobster, shrimp, the works. Ill get some snaps. What are you doin?
  14. Martin Wood and Mid Wales Tree Services I did it for ya
  15. That woman looks like she's giving you the eye. Did you get her number?
  16. Try mid wales tree services, Martin Wood. Based just over the Powys border.
  17. John looks great, but I gotta ask, whats the point in such a 'fine' reduction? Its has a nice new lolipop shape - reshape, but the tree will be back to the way it was in 18 months. Aesthetics? Obviously to make some dough... maybe I just don't miss reducing trees
  18. Double the size cut.
  19. Island to island vibes.
  20. Yo Swing! Wow getting international this evening! Welcome to THE UK Arb forum.
  21. Ay up Jim, good to see you on here. Welcome
  22. Cool I like it!
  23. You know about the drop bears right? They drop onto you and rip you to shreds. Luckily they are scared of noise.
