  2. Just a few pics from yesterdays removal, it was 90F in the shade. I didnt get any before pics.... The tree was way over the house but we had a good rigging point for the branches.

  6. Its all about communication with the guy running the ropes. Dont be scared to go bigger if you can get the feel for it. Its all about getting the feel for weight, swing etc, for both you and the ropeman. Careful not to cut thru your hinge too, like you did near the start, and got your bonce knocked by the branch Weve all done it lol Good job, get paid, go home.

  11. Backed up with a wedge (Tree was right in a corner making hammering difficult...) and 3 guys on the pull rope, gutting the hinge makes for an easier pull. It wasn't massively back leaning.... but leaning back it was

  18. Good job Reg. I was up a 25 foot dead as f&&& black pine today, that had me twitching... Luckily had a Plane to tie into and rig from... 130ft? No thanks!
  19. So on the second use with a big shot, the throwpod is starting to fall apart, there is a gap formed between the orange and black section. Its about a millimetre at the moment. Ive not used it since..... Would you like a picture?

  22. Also, In SRT the rope does not move, you move up the rope, hence a 1:1 ratio, in DdRT the rope moves with you, hence 2:1 ratio. Do the math. SRT twice as fast
