  3. Its also called a salami cut, or a pepperoni. A small undercut in the same line as the top cut can be made prior, if you are worried about a tear.... Just make sure the cuts meet up.
  4. Should have speedline. ahem, why did those bits break off with SUCH force? Saw should be removed from the cut before the pull. It was like a horse pulling the pull line!

  8. Anytime. They are great boots. Good and solid for spikes and climbing, warm and waterproof in winter, just get hot in summer. Specially when its humid and 35celcius!
  9. They usually last about 2 years..... Then the tread runs out. I havent looked into getting old pairs resloed, but Im sure its possible!

  16. I was in school in those years in John Beddoes.... I moved to Manchester in 2001
  17. I was fields away from Sheperds.... Grew up with the lads from there, along with others in the area....Used to walk there all the time... back in the old days they had it all rough, exploring that place was magic, and we used to climb the mountain on boots. Remember? Teh we moved to Presteigne, most eastern town in wales. The rest is history

  19. Cheesy, rip/tear cuts have their place in treework situations. I will use them if i need the work to depart slowly from the cut, equalling more control. Not every situation requires a face and backcut....
