    CS38 tips

keep your hands below the prussic when ascending/body thrusting. good luck,it's a breeze.
  7. love the way their seeds take and shoot. I taught my daughter that to catch a falling leaf in the autumn, and keep it until you catch another the following autumn,as it will bring good luck for the year.(things you teach kids)! watching the family scurrying around in a windy day to manage the task is a thing i look forward to each year!
  8. From warm give it a bit of throttle, pull the choke out, turn it over to start it,and push the choke back in when she fires up. I only use the pull cord when im changing blades, iff you have to rely on the pull cord to start it, then one is either strong as an ox and not best suited to use modern plant, or the machine has a fault.
  9. i like to have some 'dioralite' mixed up ready to drink, puts your body salts back in, keeps your thinking sharp.
  10. poor lady, prob had dementia or something, takes all sorts, pain at the time but a good tale after!

  12. I have a tw125, I love its convenient weight for pushing it about, but WHY does the exhaust point straight down at the ground, burns any grass , marks drives, etc. fire risk in dry times maybe, i always place an ally sheet under that exhaust.what a pain to remember when you want to concentrate on the job.
  13. whent out in that snow storm this winter, 3 days on the marshes/coast,nice biggish job for a politician, his dad was/is one also, labourous job,but ive benn payed, nice people, ground the stumps last week.
  14. OpenDNS cant beat them, qualitystuff, good for timberwolf blades too, based in Wickford, essex, but delliver in post.
  15. no evidence of fruiting bodies, decay was about 20 feet up, probably previous torn out limbs were infection sites.

    Work breaks.

depends on the work, iff its heavy I like to get stuck in and make a dent in it, theres always a point thats convenient for a stop, mind you i have my grub sent up in a bucket as I dont get on too well with the rest of the crew, think its my choice and not theirs!
  20. Im self employed in essex, to set up on your own in current financial environment meens running around evenings and weekends(when not working), pricing up and collecting owed payments. servicing your plant etc.have you the money to set up,truck ,chipper, saws, climbing kit,insurance(£1400) etc. you also have to feature in a reliable groundie. if you hve to do all this on finance then think twice. iff you have the readies with new baby and a regular/fair job, think abouy holding on for another year! a fair few s/emlyd lads strugling right now, I know as Ive took one on to save his mortgage,he calls me doom & gloom(may have a point there)! getting started/good workbase is imperative, oh and watch out for the 'while your here, can you just's) good luck whatever you choose to do!
