  2. Does look a wee bit cold there!
  3. :biggrin:Great pics, but put those saws away ovr night!!!
  4. Fingers cossed for you mate.
  5. Blimey,that looks like dr who's tardis!
  6. Nice work that! Love to see some more pics as work goes on!
  7. Pm sent in return, I went to school in felsted, boarding, back in 1969,was all forced runs & bamboo cane beatings back then!
  8. Sorry to hear this, good luck with it getting returned, makes me mad when things get nicked.
  9. At this time of year its going to be going mouldy, the sap is up. If you are near to my tip site you can help yourself,or I could deliver, depending on location. My yard is in hatfield peverel, where are you?
  10. Not normal to leave a mark such as that, some lumber gets marked up with specifics to that section. Yes people do get a lot of wood stolen, very frustrating, good on you for asking before taking,a lot of people assume it is just waste, some just take it anyway, some wait until its all nicely split & stacked before they go in for a five finger discount!
  11. Looks a good saw,not sure how it is in the field, hope someone can pipe up & let us know,But I doubt it beats the 200!
  12. Good luck on your choice, and let us know what you choose and how you get on.
  13. The 211 would be a nice saw,(I have not used one myself),but the 200 would be better built to cope with pro use,and certainly for the engine size it is stunning. There is a reason it is more expensive, and you would notice the difference when using it,on paper they may look similar, the 200,like the 200t is renowned for its mid range power, very fast rev pickup, and durability, most of the arb lads on here use the 200t climbers saw in preference to other brands for good reason, the rear handle 200 is the same saw with a different handle configuration, If you are using the saw on a regular basis I would think you would notice the difference.
  14. They arnt cheap, but what a cracking saw they are, very slim & nimble, fast to rev & cut, carving bar no probs, and a pro saw, perfect for your job......is it worth the extra money, matter of opinion, but a lot of lads on here want them,my favourite light saw so I'm the wrong person to ask!
  15. You could make a coolbox for your sarnies, just dont tell your groundy wHere they are...you know how gready the old brash draggers can be...
  16. Its a shame the ms200 rear handle is currently not available in the uk,as it would be far & away the best saw for your job,it is meant to be available again, might be worth asking a dealer local to you when,or give f.r.Jones a ring,he advertises on here and is very helpfull & competitive. No doubt the husky clan on here will chip in with an alternative option!
  17. Undrbody area gives plenty of room on the 130,I've thought about doing it,just waiting till I get the time, probably make mine with chequer plate ally, silicon sealant bead & bolt it together as Im not an ally welder, maybe line the base with rubber stable mat.
  18. Cool ,love the look of that!
  19. If you do end up not getting sorted try a straightforward dialogue with your man,try to get to the bottom of it & atain some definate comitment.
  20. When you say bounced for the money,do you mean the cheque bounced,or other? Hope you get paid out by the way, maybe just a glitch?
  21. Looks like its not got an air filter on it,eek.....
  22. Ouch!!! Hope it heals clean for you,I very rarely use gloves, cant stand them!
  23. Good luck with it all, sounds like tey have set it up wrong on the adjusters when replacing the cable.
  24. Cool mutt, looks like it will make a good dog with training.
  25. You should grind with the brake on,but disengage the brake when moving into the work for the next sweep. I f yours is anything like my dosco, and I suspect it is,there is some adjustment on the caliper itself, bit fidly to get at,but fairly easy,(10 minute job). Hope this helps, and I would be inclined to question the dealers attitude to brake usage.
