  1. I got roped into doing some Lineman work over the Xmas period. In NZ one of the prerequisites to becoming a HV Utilities Arbie is that you must first qualify as a HV Lineman up to E1 level, which I had previously done. This has lead to a career change and I am now working full time as a Lineman, which is why I havent been active on the forum this year...enough about me,sorry for the hijack, and all the best wishes to all you Arborists.
  2. Nice pics Drew, are you on vacation already? Instead of embedding, just copy shortcut(right click menu),then paste to thread.

  9. haha,I dont really know. This is an off the shelf prussic. At a guess Id say it might be a bit of a keeper to keep things(ring & prussic) set.
  10. Thanks for posting Mike,I was just curious about why the tree got the death sentence?
  11. It is simply to make it adjustable and still retrievable Max.Heres a pic.
  12. Id prefer a tenex hollow braid prussic for a Leather cambium saver, especially if your going to use it for choking small stems. Heres a pic of one for a Buckingham leather CS.
  13. You could get a conventional(non adjustable) to start and then add on a prussic/ring if required later. They are available seperately or can be made.Hope that is what you meant.
