  1. The 346 all the way. I have recently been using a 357 with about a 15" bar on it. Very nippy and fairly light machine too.
  2. According to the seller, it's a unimog with a transit cab.
  3. No they didnt......in those days it was much more them and us.......that sort of music never really made it into the charts. By about '92 there were commercialised versions of this genre coming into the mainstream, and soon the clubs themselves started cateing for the masses so it was possible to hear tunes in clubs, then maybe 6 months later, watered down chart versions of those tunes would apppear too. A famous example is this, although it hit the charts year after the original tune.... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6iDz648nzT8]YouTube - Gat Decor - Passion (Original Mix)[/ame] and here's the awful commercial version that came out with vocals added to maki it saleable to the masses..... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ynm-_iJTIQ]YouTube - Gat Decor - Passion (Do You Want It Right Now Mix)[/ame]
  4. This could be called one of the early breakouts from the house/ disco scene that led to the drum and bass / breakbeat sound....one of the greatest tunes of all time IMO... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LOLE1YE_oFQ&feature=related]YouTube - Frankie Knuckles - Your Love[/ame]
  5. Hama- this was the pinnacle of early 90's underground 'rave' music.....released in 1990...... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HROMVIHGpLE]YouTube - LFO - LFO[/ame] this was a number one single by some awful cheesy pop crap band in 1999 that reached number 1 in the charts...... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9vRzgOig9b4&feature=fvsr]YouTube - Summer Girls - LFO[/ame] The first was high quality undergound dance, the second the absolute opposite.... Hence my last post of confusion....
  6. Hahahaha loving the answers so far guys.......keep 'em coming:thumbup:
  7. Would you prefer endless polls on whether to buy stihl or husqvarna chainsaws, or landrover or toyota trucks?
  8. softwood delivered (larch douglas thuja) usually about 50/ cubic metre delivered down here.
  9. Ow that looks sore mate!!! I had a similar one years ago that snapped off and had to be cut out with a scalpel in the end....... ......and i WAS wearing gloves- straight through tghe leather, my finger, and out the other side of the leather glove.....almost no glove on the market will stop that sort of thorn. Who cares? He hurt himself, silly / poor guy. Thanks for the pics mate. Hope it heals soon:thumbup1:
  10. Yes that is a problem, and a valid point. Its even more irksome though when those that need it least get it in favour of thoe that need it most. There are mant genuine cases out there of people who would go the distance if given the chance, yet never get that chance because those that are in the strongest financial positions, such as bankers etc get all the money at the expense of keen, hardworking potential candidates who cannot look at the idea of saddling themselves with the kind of debt that further education nowadays will, so decide not to take the loan, and spend their life in dead end jobs, yet could have been a great asset to society and further or improve their personal and their families' posotions in the long run. the majority of society are taking financial and social hits, whilst the elite bask in socially funded comfort and excess.
  11. I do actually agree, however I was, as i am sure you know:sneaky2:, playing the devils advocate to some extent, but I dont think that further education should be losing its funding so much, and cause so much debt for people to start out in their careers.
  12. I agree that kids need educating, but why should it stop at a predetermined age? There are loans, but there is also such a phenomenal pot of money that is wasted on other possibly less worthy causes that subsidising further education seems to me to be sensible, especially as the reality apperas to be that the number of graduates/ people who have taken any form of post school education (as it were) getting jobs is falling, yet the cost of eduaction is rising, or being loaded onto these people with the promise of jobs that just arent there. It seems nonsensical to me.
  13. Fair point, but I am not sure i see the difference TBH.
  14. So did you guys pay to go to school? Out of your own pockets? Or did you go to state funded schools? PAid for by the taxpayer. The same taxpayer who susidised the now horrifically expensive courses of higher education? Or who are paying for your children to be educated?
  15. Are the springs old and tired too maybe? They dont last for ever.
  16. Quite agree. IF you cause an accident due to being overloaded........
  17. Yes it will. Mine has been doing it for 10 years no problem. The biggest issue is supposed to be the brakes, but as we all know, all these things are built with massive tolerances amd safety margins.......the SWL of a front loader of the wheeled digger is a tonne, but it wil lift much more than that happily for example. The legal side of things is another thing, but the gear is certainly more than man enoiugh.
  18. The 130 has helper springs, and heavy duty standard springs and the anti roll bar. You could get a set of helper springs (any distributor of LR parts will be able to supply them), and get an anti roll bar off a discovery down the scrap yard. You already have the brackets on the axle and chassis, and all the bushes etc are replaceable, and as with all land rover parts, very cheap. You could alternativley put air bags inside the standard springs in place of the helper springs. I have recently replaced my 10 year old shocks with terra firmas too, and that has helped alot.
