  1. Now why on earth would one want to do that to oneself??????
  2. VERY nice truck indeed!
  3. As it says....just interested to know?
  4. I am sure it IS very hard to recover them, but I pay my taxes for a police service which I dont get IMO. It is very easy to reach target figures from motoring offences etc, but this doesnt help those who have had their kit stolen. The introduction of, and gospel reliance by the media upon, crime numbers and targets is what is ensnaring already overstretched budgets for the police force. Recent cuts forced by the bankers' greed/ payout have entrenched this problem in this country too.

That way you will be breathing FRESH air when you excercise and get fit and see some lovely countryside......then come home and play computer games that have conned a milion chip eating beer swilling lazies that they dont have to leave their centrally heated boxes as they will get fit vegging out infront of a TV screen:biggrin:
  8. Maybe where you live.....down here I saw a fight in truro, about 200 yds from the multi storey police station (Truro is the county town/ city for cornwall) and I knocked on the door....to no avail. There was a notice saying closed after 6pm. So i eventually rang a central switchboard in exeter (the non emergency number) which is about 95 miles away. They said thanks alot, to which i replied not to worry now as the (very violent) attack had now ended after about 10 minutes. But they insisted and after about 20 minutes a cop was seen to leave the building and have a stroll around. I live in sight of a 'transit' site for irish travellers. This is considered a no-go zone by the police, yet it is common knowledge that most of the local crime, if not all of it, is perpeuated by some, if not all (but i doubt it) of the residents of that site. When i moved here the people who live on either side of me (nearby neighbours i suppose you would say) even told me the names of the 2 boys that robbed them, and how to recognize them. Yet the police refuse to go onto that site....which incidentally has a cage in which they set dogs on each other....dogs that have been stolen, for example, off my neighbour. Is it any wonder that people have little or no trust in the police force in this country.
  9. Have a good day Oh Great Leader:thumbup:

ha- i never even knew there was one there. I drive past that shop periodically! I was down for a brief period when they were building the liskeard bypass. Stayed at the railway station with Tom and Emma, and the circus warp crew, who were repairing their sound sytem after the police had trashed it and given it back after castlemorton debacle.
