  4. You must have been referring to UNP-Buck's, mine were nowhere near that comprehensive!!! Good one Buck.
  5. Very good point dean, well said.
  6. He MIGHT be a muppet then. Never deal in wood/timber by weight, always by volume, unless it is either totally green and you know the green weight of that particular sp or it is kiln dried and you have the weight of that timber when kilned. he only time when weight is relevant other than that is when making sure you dont overload a lorry etc.
  7. Yeah tap 'em up for it mate- if you ring b4 show and tell them your size aswell then could be jobs a good'un!!
  8. Cheers huck. Another one to note down mentally!!

  11. Six for me stevie- i've eaten the rest. I found that on a hot day you could use the spoon to eat the chocolate bar. Can i have them with Tunnocks caramel though?(100 tonnes of delicious caramel produced weekly:sneaky2:)

  13. What a great truck. Commer Karrier did you mean- its not one of those, or is Karrier something else?
  14. Got one last year for 350 cash as the shop had one they didnt want- long story and nothing at all underhand, just v.lucky for me. I was going to go for one at 398 inc which was the best price i found. Anything around 400 mark is pretty good TBH. The above all applies to 12" bar.
  15. We circle like vultures keeping a good look out for the dead and dying.....
  16. Here goes- Should be fairly self explanatory.:001_smile:I generally have it attached with the krab on my right side d, and anothe krab on the end for positioning, even spiking.
  17. Hold tight- there will be.
  18. Great stuff and good pics!!!
  19. Hey stev- only just read this thread. I have a 5m split tail (yale xtc) with a micro pully and distel hitch on it- it is not that dissimilar to the vt set up, only simpler, and is usable one handed. Love it.
  20. I'm with Huck on this one- get it in writing , get on with it, and highways should have the headache. MUST be in writing.
  21. Educate me- is this stuff not into colder climates then?
  22. I get that on my landy from time to time, more if i havent used the tipper for a while. I have a 3 stage ram on it and the middle stage would drop about halfway before the small one, and then the smalll one would suddenly go in making he whole butt drop suddenly. Is your trailer very new, as the rams could be sticking- I am pretty sure that was the problem with mine; even though the small (3rd) stage was empty of oil, it was a bit jammed until the angle changed. I havent had the prob for quite a while now as the tipper gets much more regular use. Having said all that, i have never experienced the same with the ifor tipper, so my theory could be total bollox. Hope it may have helped though.
  23. Sorry- i got it now i think...
