  1. Yeah me. NEVER AGAIN. Thats all i'm saying on a public forum..........
  2. Sorry mate- working fine here too- xp and ie7.
  3. Haha! After reading these posts I think i may have to re-think what i said. I am going to try doing mine now!!
  4. Couldn't agree more. Another good thread Mr. Hancock.
  5. Yes and no mate- in the short term yes, the probs are pretty deep i think. It helped more by giving me some direction. Thanks Dr Steve.
  6. Be vary vary careful mate- i am reliably informed that you are risking a very strong recoil from the actuator spring that is part of the mechanism. My local ifor dealer said about £30-40 to do the job. Leave it to them mate, they are geared up for it.
  7. aaaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhh! Not again. Line them up and shoot them............if only.
  8. Finally. TBH i think i was getting a bit bored of hearing about this unimog and chipper set up- in fact i was almost at the point of thinking you were just on the wind-up. Only kidding as you know- fair play mate, you must be well chuffed.:001_smile:
  9. It was me. Can i have my prize now please. And i dont want the sweaty seconds this time thank you:001_tongue:
  10. Think i got the wrong end of the stick- wasn't that you up there stevie?

    Too old?

42 lad? Yer no'but spring chicken! The two climbers i know and respect the best down here are 41 and over 50, and both climb everyday. Go for it! I'm only 35 though. And suffering! Haha.
  12. I think that this is a heavy thread too- but only in subject. By that i mean that the posts have all been very eye-opening for many of the reasons others have posted, very poignant- i can relate totally, and also in a strange way, i suppose, quite reassuring. Steve , I have been absorbing what you have been writing like a sponge; i'm booking hypno soon i reckon (i've known i needed pro help for a while now). And John, fair play and thank you for what you wrote. Huck was right in what he said. One of the most interesting threads on arbtalk at the mo!:001_smile:
  13. Quite agree. Loving the pics of the chestnut and beech with the holes and twists in them Dave from last year, and the bluebells from both years are amazing. I must take a trip to the woods i was in a few weeks back. The bluebells wer only just starting to flower, but the floor was carpeted with them.
  14. Absoloutely blown away by that vid- balls of steel i reckon.
  15. Thats so true stevie. If its difficult then do a spread sheet on Excel, that way you will be able to budget everything, and see it clearly. It also allows you to see so quickly whether you are pricing adequately. Unless you keep lots of horses!!!!!!!LOL
  16. You want to speak to a lady called Nicky Carlyon of the Kernow Training Group. Her number is 01726860204 or her mobile is 07774951739. All the Best, Tom Pugh.

  17. It really works doesn't it mate!
  18. The only way to be mate- never rely on employees, do it yourself.
  19. AAAAAAAARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! Is the fact that the above is the commonest and most prevelant thing going through my head at any one time a sign......and the fact i can relate to heartburn, temper etc etc etc.........that i am stressed. Does anyone else here ever wonder if there is any point to it?
  20. Totally agree with stevie there mate. Get some basic insurance to cover yourself, dont work for nowt- if you dont do a job for nowt they will have it done by someone else and pay, so you may as well have the money- and get stuck in.
  21. Chuck it out and get a stihl ms361. It'll never let you down like the present offerings and those of the last few years from electrolux. Sorry, I mean husqvarna. With any luck they will get their act together and start building something decent again before long.
  22. More than welcome mate, any time, and i might even catch the plane back with you. That is truly awseome scenery. Both sets of pics. Always wanted to see the land of the haggis, only been to Hawick for a couple of rainy hours, and that didnt feel much different to northumberland. Oh yeah, and gretna green, but less said the better on that one...
