  1. :001_tongue: I meant from the "matrix" film.LOL
  2. 8.TommyB- easy mistake mate, we've all made that one, it is very unclear.. 9.Xerxes you were right to turn your neighbour down- i wouldn't invite him round again if he tried THAT on. Phew! The orange original shaft extensioner for the wingmoddler could never have been from that year as yes, electric blue had been re-introduced, but on top of that the orange could not have been genuine as one of the original colour pigments used was found to be invalid!! Anyway i hope these points have been useful to at least some of you, and Anna, you should put up some sort of security at your place if you are going to let everyone know that you have one!
  3. Wow wow wow what a burr!!!!!!!!Actually i think a few more '!'s are in order!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nice pics. That your red vent there? I asked for the least popular colour when i got my red one!
  4. MonkeyD are you the oracle by any chance....Thanks for the pic!
  5. I feel that i have a small amount of knowledge of these units, so must set a few things straight.... 1. Dean, screw is for adjustment, unkess it is the red plastic one used for transport, which should be removed prior to installation and first use. They are all compliant if they have the adjustment screw. 2.Regarding pairs- they only became known as "pairs" when two singles were matched. Who'd have thought it. BTW this was made illegal in the summer months! 3.Well spotted on the year Andy! Even with the later parts fitted. 4.Blue was only a short run factory option, but was in such high demand by the end of 79 that they allowed dealers to offer it as an aftermarket add on. 5.Mike Hill- thanks- I never realised that the reflective mirrors ever came as standard! 6.As Andy states- even when heavily modded they were awful off road. 7.Unfortunately Electric blue and the later sage green are both as rare as hell nowadays, due to limited run of the blue, and the sage being sooo unpopular at the time all those have now been long left to rot in peace!
  6. And todays spelling test is the word for a "driver"......
  7. Are you going to have one i can look at at capel- not sure i've been bright enough to really get how it works!
  8. Nice customer mate!!! You did the right thing though in my opinion; it was a hassle, she was stuck up her own proverbial, but she was also the customer, who i reckon should always believe they are right!!
  9. Actually im changing to macrocarpa after all!
  10. Or 12'. They call me mr indecisive...dont know why tho...!
  11. Looks like you had some nice solid easy fells today then stevie!!LOL:001_tongue:
  12. Must be taxus baccata, with an odd approach to thinning!?!?
  13. They are just great- do exactly what they are meant to!
  14. November in the Lizard???? You must like weather! LOL. PM me nearer the time and we'll link up!

  15. Used to do a bit for Andrew Ridgley/ Kieren Woodward, both pretty friendly- used to drink in my local. Lord Falmouth, but thats not hard down here as he has about 25000 acres, so i reckon most people have! Lucy Fleming- ians daughter- actress- always seemed to manage to get a little bit off the bill somehow:confused1: Max Reid- late Oliver's family- really cool guy. Loads of anonymous glitterati's properties in Rock, north cornwall!
  16. Thats incredible- an amazing looking thing.
  17. Amazingly, it is a douglas! These trees are located at Carwinion on the helford in cornwall, not a million miles from where the Lobbs lived, plant collectors of note from 19th century. It is one of the oldest douggies in the country! They have had several people stumped by that one, including some Kew guys! Interesting shape.!
  18. A clue for the second tree- usually seen as more of a plantation tree- good timber! David- thats never a gnarly old fraxinus is it?
  19. The burrs in pic 1 are amazing!
