  1. They're McVeigh's own make. Good kit at a good price, I should know I work for them:thumbup:
  2. Go to McVeigh Parker and in the search box type in KSBC. If you don't need all the kit parts you can buy them seperately.
  3. Both home grown & imported are in high demand with greatly increased lead times on deliveries
  4. Alloy tipper, roof rack, winch, warning lights, heated seats, heated windscreen & night heater etc. all in.
  5. Aviva as well, saved a tipper load of cash with them.
  6. This is mine, variation on the same theme, used it a few times, handy piece of kit. I keep the power unit on it and have removed the drive to the oil pump so no oil running out.
  7. Husqvarna 262xp. Up to you as to whether it's an icon but mine runs as good today as it did when it was new 23 years ago.
  8. Mark Robinson is based on Skye, PM me if you want his number or go to http://www.arborteering.co.uk
  9. I work within the fence equipment supply industry and have seen plenty of customers try these products (various timber types and in differing soil types/comditions) with limited or no success. By all means try them and you never know, you may get the results that you desire.
  10. Fair comment, use what you have got. How can it increase the lifespan when you are sealing in the moisture which is already in the post. It's not necessarly the moisture from outside the post which leads to it's failure, moisture from within is equally as bad. I've seen what these products do, or more importantly, do not do
  11. You won't extend the lifespan, you'll reduce it. Untreated European larch would be good if you can get it.
  12. In theory it looks Ok but what is the quality of the post you are dipping, if it's poor quailty them you'r probably sealing moisture into the post making the situation even worse
  13. We sell as "desired life" but backed up by manufactures guarantee. If you cut through a UC4 or HC4 post you'll see how much further the treatment goes into the post. Also, only redwood used so no Spruce etc.
  14. 357, MS650 and my old 281
  15. Success with this stuff is not great either as it also traps moisture in, both what is on and in the post when treating.
  16. UC4 - 15year guarantee HC4 - 30year guarantee
  17. Mcveigh Parker supply thousands of pressure treated creo posts every year. Chestnut is not a problem either
  18. Try this link, loads of options, McVeigh Parker - Agricultural Fencing | McVeigh Parker
  19. You could also use class 4 timber ie. Redwood timber, Kiln dried to 28% m/c then pressure treated. 15+years desired lifespan.
  20. Sorry I ment to quote this
  21. Yes you can, McVeigh Parker sell them, how many thousand do you want ?
  22. I did it 8 years ago with SAC when they were based in Lanark. Not sure if they are still running the course. Speak to Matt Cooper 07803 222368 I'm sure he'll point you in the right direction.
  23. Just insured my Land Rover tipper with Aviva, saved £220 on my previous insurers
  24. It's not so much the preservative that's the problem, more the way the timber is prepared for treatment. UC4 posts are all redwood and kiln dried to 28% before treatment.
  25. Change your fencing supplier
