Just pollard correctly will save the tree for the future. Pollarding has been done for centuries why has the uk got to be different and modern by the way it looks bad

Under health and saftey regs to use a MEWP with CHAINSAW you have to have rope and harness ticket. That's what i was told when i went for mine.

i HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEMS I was offered a deal £1 per year for me to pay the peppercorn rent. The contracts came back (dropped a lot of trees for the amount of paper) same no lone working Sorry! HAD TO RING MY CONTACT EVERY TWENTY MINS?? Cold not make them understand that if I was renting the woodland the care of duty is down to me and not them. By the way this woodland was not theirs but a community woodland given to the local council by the outcrop company. I think that the boys and girls at FC are protecting their jobs never worked in the situations that we find our selves in. This government has said that if any organisation gives out the wrong health and safety rules we the public can have readdress. You will also find that the FC's health and safety is at least 40-50 year old and is solely for extraction. -

Hi that is a nice display of PLASHING. I think that started across the water mainland Europe France Germany Netherlands. Pleaching is what I do with hawthorne hedges But when you go to Collingham hedge comp they call it plashing

You need a winch tensioned opposite you holding the tree. The stand will more as not stand up, it is the tree stem where is the tension. Please ask for some to show you.

Refresher course was thought up by councils for occasional users which i wholly agree with NPTC IS FOR LIFE NOT FOR CHRISTMAS LANTRA IS FOR FIVE YEARS. Take any ticket and you are refreshed. PS. I was told by training provider to keep my blue book!! -

A simple way remove plug drop a little oil down on top of the piston replace plug if it fires then suspect the pistons us. Then start pulling to pieces
