    Tw125ph

    Keep the blades sharp and they are fantastic machines.Maintenance is everything,even more so on small chippers.I had a new 125 for 5 years with no problems.I traded it in for a Greenmech 130 and although this is a great machine too I still miss the manoeuvrability and ease of access of my 125.
  2. Hi Skyview Whatever option you go for please bear in mind that theres a utility pole in the foreground of photo that appears to be LV. Overhead line.

  5. I live about 10 miles from the hedge.Looks like its due a trim soon.I passed when they trimmed it in the nineties with a lorry mounted mewp and a pair of loppers!

  7. I usually date them to the age of the church/graveyard but that doesnt always work.Cut it down and count the rings.;-)

  9. I use the Husqvarna 250PS hydraulic,telescopic pole pruners.They are streets ahead of anything else on the market(and still are) although they were discontinued a number of years back.

  13. I use a silicone gun to fill the bolt heads with white silicone which saves alot of time picking the crap out.The silicone comes out easily with a pin or similar and prevents the bolts rounding.

  15. Hi all I have half a knapsack sprayer full of diluted glyphosate which has been stored in my garage since last Autumn.Will it still be affective or does the active ingredients diminish over time.
  16. 04.30 to midday shift works for us although its only practical in remote areas and can be difficult to maintain over long periods of time.
