    Very true I used to service a clean my mowers in the autumn but just service them as necessary not as the phone always goes for one last cut.

    I know it is getting near the end of the season but just thought its is best done after the last cut so it can be given a good clean.

    Just out of interest why would someone book a mower in for a winter service before the end of the growing season?

    Do you have access to a chipper otherwise there is going to be a lot of material to get rid of.

    I do realize that Steve I think this it a great site and well run. Personally im not easily offended but people do seen to use the Q word a lot which some people can find very offensive. Hope you make a quick full recovery.

    Surly the mods should stop these threads before they get out of control. They seem very quick to delete some things but when people make homophobic comments or swear they don't bother.

    You can pick up echo brushcutters cheaper than stihls but just as good if not better. As above get a mulching blade.

    I paid £200 for mine it was hardly used and the chap delivered it for free. If I was you Hodge I would keep it even if you only use it for big hedges in the open like I do. Thats where they come into their own i think.

    Anything with tyres is going to get punchers. If the gardens you work in dont have access issues why did you buy it in the first place. Surly its not a case of bad tool, but bad choice of tool.

    I have an echo pole saw with hedge cutter great tool but quite heave. Great with a ELH thou.
