  1. Don't let @htb talk to them 🤣
  2. Rosewood is what many smoking pipe bowls are made of. Not really a thing any more but my dad had three
  3. I'm surprised to hear such tales of difficulty charging: my newly wed son and wife have just spent a week touring Somerset and Dorset in their ID3 and Andy remarked how simple charging was. To be fair I think he was using upmarket hotels a lot - but not exclusively - which obviously helps but your story is disappointing to say the least. It will get better and quickly
  4. We see a Spitfire at least once a day, usually two or three times. I guess they have fairly fixed routes and are just a few minutes flying time up the road at Biggin Hill (do they operate out of Headcorn at all?)
  5. That's impressive; I envy you your swallows! I hiked around Bewl Water reservoir on Wednesday; over the grassy bank behind the dam was a group of 20 or so house martins, no swallows. The distribution of the three species (and probably sand martins too) seems to be very uneven
  6. Horsham Fencing may be a good start point! They share a building with ATS on the A281 at Lower Beeding
  7. I wish you the best of luck. I had a warranty issue a couple of years ago and Husky were dreadful. A couple of their dealerships were excellent - Jonesy was one of them - but Husky themselves... simply did not want to know
  8. 2 seconds of Googling comes up with [email protected] 😊
  9. That's because the scheme isn't about educating the end user - that's the logical and therefore non-governmental thing to do - it's as @doobin says; screwing the small producer
  10. A piece of scaffold pole here
  11. It was a tongue in cheek question as in 'why ****ing bother at all?'!!!
  12. Any particular year? 🤭
  13. Cotoneaster I reckon. The wood's right, the bark's right and I'm pretty sure the leaves are right - they're at least very similar. And yes, the wood is as heavy as hell - and beautiful when fresh cut. The pinks soon go brown though I'm afraid
  14. That's an odd new username Mark! Or have you been hijacked? @gobbypunk
  15. Sigh... 😊
  16. This one reminds me of The Eagles' Long Road Out Of Eden
  17. 3 months ago I hadn't even heard of them, now 'The Complete...' off Spotify is almost all I pay while on the road. Am hoping to see them at The Roundhouse next March
  18. Nothing to argue with there but where does one draw the line? You could so easily find so many reasons not to do anything. That's not the OP's frame of mind though 👍. I'd go shit or bust; crack on, get the job done and worry about desk jockeys wetting themselves later. But then I'm not as scared of public sector bureaucracy as many as I was part of it for 30 years! When confronted I found that wringing hands and offering abject apologies worked wonders. But the deed had been done 😊
  19. Love the wasp I'll raise you a lizard!

    Jokes???

  21. I've never tried so can't give a definitive opinion but I'd be surprised if anything Hyundai was crap; not top spec maybe but rubbish? - no. For that price I'd say you'd be getting a bargain
  22. An offence to sell it as a herbicide, not use it as such
