  6. love the tractor tom, any other pics of it, what make? i have a roofmount and a hiab trailer, it is amazing where you can get them into when you need to, you see jobs in a whole different light after handballing for years:001_smile:
  7. keep your chin up john, as i said earlier, what is done is done. you need to stop beating yourself up for your kids sake and yourself. live in the now, not the past or the future. how many times have you worried about things that you think might happen or did happen. anxiety is a horrible thing, i suffered from it all my life. what if, what if!!going for advice or therapy doesnt mean you are crazy, it means you know you are alive and you want to keep on living the best that you can. when wee stew wasnt well in february this year, i thought i was going to loose him, seeing him lying on a bed with tubes up his nose and lying there helpless and pale was something you couldnt prepare for, i was in bits at the side of his bed. but with the help that i had recieved from my hypnotherapist previously i managed to pull myself together and keep a straight head, after a few hankies though. i cant explain what it is like, but being in control of your thoughts is amazing, keeping the cruel images out of your minds eye, remaining positive, breathing properly and only thinking good thoughts, not eating away at yourself with worry and what ifs. we were lucky and he bounced back once he was in the right hands.keep strong john and get googling about hypno. please.
  8. nice one edd, i used to have an impreza with the reg s9 sub. my name is stephen blair. so i would tell folk my middle name was ulysses. if they didnt laugh i would let them think it was true. lol

  9. great minds, and when its your diesel and you suffer from rage. please turn the dam thing off, and put the blower down aswell, we havent even started to rake up the rough of it yet:sneaky2:
  10. no need dean, i have headsets, so i can shout orders from the other side of the building. if someone is doing something that is annoying me i can just say it, or if they need a little pointer on how to organise their chipping i can just tell them. and i never leave a chipper un manned, probably because its out on the street because it wont fit on the driveway:blushing:its all about flow of the branches, when its not flowing sweet. stop the chipper and stack.
  11. have you left the guys to it then, or are they all away home?
  12. are you camping tonight under the stars steve?
  13. when i first started working for myself, i dug a big piece of 6 foot sitka out the log pile. wizard i thought, then 5 foot santa, then 4 foot smurf, then 3 foot dwarf, finally a wonky 2 foot crap mushroom thing:scared1:it burnt great n the bonny:001_cool:never tried carving ever since.
  14. i would reckon the engine not working hard would be the best, no stress really means the engine is too small. i can run the mog all day with a 10 inch chipper on about 12 gallons.

  20. if you are doing everything by the book, as you always should in this game. i find there is only so quick you can be. but if i were to imagine myself cutting a few corners. like say free climbing 50feet for starters and making up excuses for damaged fences, holes in lawns and broken roses, knocking the head off into nieghbouring no mans land. then i can imagine myself being pretty nifty:sneaky2:
  21. they are 15,700plus vat new. i want 8.5k plus vat. i have the no stress system(800 pounds)that i have never used(for tractors below 120hp)i would throw in as well. also 2 spare sets of blades:001_smile:
  22. everything is for sale johny, a nice roof mount and chipper would look good in your yard mate:001_cool:
