  1. if you want it badly you will find it, i have been out of my parents house since i was 19, i didnt have an option of not paying bills or wanting big wages, just loads of hrs doing crappy jobs in the hope that one day i would get the chance to do this job, it took me 3 years of shovelling coal, digging gardens, peeling tatties in a chip shop to save up enough money to buy a harness and ropes, then another year to buy a saw. once you have been in the crap you dont want to go back in it, i put myself in it so i had to get myself out of it. too much negativty and focus on doom and gloom. i could be out working today rather than sitting infront of the laptop, but i am not, its my choice but i didnt have a day off for 10 years unless it was for a weeks holiday in summer . good luck doesnt fall on your lap, you make it, it takes focus and determination. unfortunately some people do get dealt a right crap set of cards in this life, and i cant do anything about that. but if you are fit and healthy then there is no reason anyone should be out of work, it just depends on what you want to do and for how much for:001_smile:
  2. there is loads of work out there, its just getting up and going and finding it, near or far:001_smile:
  3. i like the look of those 0.2m3 bags
  4. devon does look stunning, i think i will start saving my pennies, maybe even a busmans holiday with tommer/tbc and cts. i love the beaches, but a bit busy for my liking. i bet the seafood is great down there
  5. call willy on 01563 524 013. nfu vary all over the country but he did me a good deal, they are strange about if you have policys somewhere else through them, i cant understand that. but i get everything for 585, tell them it was me that recommended them and just be persistant with them, they usually take a few days but dont be scared to hound them on

  12. dean dean dean, how do iknow you started that job at 10 oclock on a wednesday night in a rage, then got stuck in that much you forgot to ask if it was the right room:001_tt1:dean the magnet of disaster. i cant wait to see how your chopped chip box turns out. it will probably get reposesed because it has someone elses finance still on it and it was involved in an armed robbery in france and you are probably be getting the blame:001_tongue:
  13. the time it takes to do a job can be a big factor, if i turn up and quote for a job, i may be more expensive but if i say to the customer i will have it all done for you in half the time as my competitor, i accept cheques and i will start now, they usually go for it. people are very busy now and just want things done. there are folk out there that just want a gypo job for much cheapness, i dont entertain them, i sus them out over the phone and leave it at that. they are the ones that give you all the hassle.

  20. if i had saved up 100k and put it in the bank i would of lost half off it and paid a fortune in tax over the years. i have done ok in the last few years, it has nothing to do with kit, its ability to work hard and to keep trudging on when the chips are down.
