  1. the biggest pine tree i had to get off site took 35 transits loads of firewood, 5 loads of chip and i took the 48foot stem down in one and removed it in 4, 12 foot bits. it just so happens all my pics are not on a digi and i dont have a scanner, but i will try and take a photo of it with my phone :001_smile:it was beside a house and a new driveway. now who is going to pee higher than that:001_tt1:
  2. a black pudding supper really is the business when pregnant, if you dont know what one looks like then look at the picture below. what do you think:confused1:
  3. i like coffee with cake and tea with sandwiches. not enough options on your poll mate
  4. only because we want it to be tiny:001_tt1:
  5. i could only presume if someone has the inteligence to buy such an impresive vehicle, he would have a seperate chip box if such a task arrose:001_tongue:
  6. if i drink a pint i pee a gallon:001_tongue:
  7. you will need the mog to price it so cost effectively. is it a contractor or la mog?
  8. thats what my wife says andy, she says it smells like swimming pool water, when she was in the childrens ward they would never rinse them out as they were for the babies and had to keep it sterile, but i take it you just rinse it out then add your nice fresh stuff:001_cool:
  9. this is far more cost effective than dozens of small john deeres with 50 gallon bowzers and 2 operators that we have in out town. that is a huge bowzer and will last ages. the mog also has front linkage, so it may be used for snowploughing in winter. as it has rear pto it can be used for chipping and grass cutting also. in winter that bowzer can be used to help unblock drains and suck out flooded areas. it is doing the job of many vehicles. there is a reason mogs are in use all day every day around the world. come on Simon, just buy one for joe:001_cool:
  10. i actually took that one for dean a few months back:001_tongue:

    Thanks!

i was there for the gathering of arbtalk buddies, we were sitting chilling at the end of the day when an announcement came over the tannoy about a talk. i have never heard a more boring voice in my life, and then when he said 'honest it wont be boring' we all burst out laughing. if you want real input from real tree cutters. get a lovely sounding lady on the tannoy who stands outside the tent in a hooters top. we will sit there as good as gold and listen.
  12. reg was there in the flesh, and what a gent he is too. he talked everyone through his device. it is very good, and he has thought of all the things it needs. he even has a wee ring welded on the end of the handle, to stop folk like me putting a 3 m scaffold bar on the end for extra leverage:blushing:he had 3 different devices, all priced very well. i will definately be getting one:001_cool:
  13. i stuck lucozade isotonic in it for the hot days, but it was really plasticy tasting just with water before that
  14. thats what the jet is for mate:001_cool: i wish:001_tongue:
  15. because there is already a super sonic tree cutter extrordinare here mate, and if you bring your pole pruner and ladders you might pip me off my post:001_tongue:
  16. i stopped using mine because it tasted funny and started to smell inside:thumbdown:is there any tricks to keeping it fresh. i tried bi-carbonate of soda but didnt make much difference:confused1:
  17. to be honest i am not bothered about the weather anymore. i can do as i want anyway. years of busting a gut hail rain or shine 12-14 hrs a day, 7 days a week is paying off for me now. i have good customers and a great worker and good kit. we work hard, eat in lovely cafes everyday and i come home to a smoking hot wife and 2 beautiful children. if the wather is really crappy i get to spend the whole day with them. not blowing my own trumpet, but hard graft pays off, there is a lot of emphasis about the poor wee groundie and the big bad boss. i worked my arse off whatever the wage, but i always had a goal and a plan.
  18. very impressive, but i like to keep my jaw attached to my head. i thought a section fell and log splitter would of been used. that must of cost a fortune. but i bet they cleared a lot of trees very quickly
  19. sorry gibbon, i couldnt find the pic i was looking for so i thought it would be a laugh sticking that one up:001_smile:
  20. heres one i did earlier, we can call this the trailers:001_smile: just so we can get an idea of scale:001_tt1:
  21. if the groundies play nice, the climber will be also be nice. lazy cheeky groundies get big heavy stuff ontop of wee stuff as fast as the saw can go. then its time to sharpen all the saws twice when its tidy up time:sneaky2:
  22. what, like the ones in your avatar:001_tt1:
