  1. Well done Steve! Now Tony put it the right way up:laugh1:
  2. Mine were 360. Wheely bin 90. i like counting stuff:biggrin:
  3. Sawpod is the best tree work thing since a big blower! I still have my first 1 at £20 from about 7 years ago, the newer 1 is even better.
  4. I'd want to know how much air a fountain actually creates and not get caught up in the wow factor.
  5. Nice 1, just wait until you get some big horrible banan connies! Wrestle it tothe rollers and wave good bye! So much less snedding and sawdust at the chipper. Drag big, chip big!
  6. The diference in the jump up from a 6" machine in brilliant!! Your working day is going to be do much better
  7. You right off as much as it makes sense to do that year. If it keeps you out a high tax bracket then it's up to the accountant to decide which is best, if you plan on borrowing more money the next year, say for a house, you need your profit as high as possible, to take the hit 1 year and take advantage the next. There is no simple 1 sentence answer I'm afraid.
  8. Chipper for the front so to use the winch , lugs could be put on the back blade to hook a chipper on for extra versatility! All the parts are there, it just needs the hiab at the back and a chip box in the middle. I don't think the hiab cherry picker bucket is allowed in the uk, but that's a pretty serious company so I must be wrong! Very low hours, the engine will have plenty of oomf but a bit more wouldn't go a miss!!
  9. That will sit therefor years! Ratchet strap 2 pinch bars over the split and fell low, job done!
  10. If the berries are pungent and your skelves are septic , then it's Sea Buckthorn!! Evil evil evil!!
  11. Not an arborist, I'm a do it kind of guy, customer wants it done, I do it. Always loved making big trees crash to the ground and buying kit, this place makes the latter easier . All in all , a great bunch if lads!! And couple of girls
  12. Really nice sticks and thing to do!
  13. Do you need it or want it? I always finance stuff I want lol!!
  14. These are 2 new 026's!! 1, the h and l settings. They only have 1 full turn and 3/4 turn , not sure which off hand. So that would be both wide open. Ady is right, it's the notch out the drum, clutch cover part. It locates over a little spindle to turn the pump. My saws don't have the little spindle, but do have the covers with the notch. They still oil fine. I was wondering why they would upgrade the design, yet keep the older part on the cover.
  15. Excellent!! Any pics of your work? I used to have bows as a kid, I remember butchering 1 trying make a crossbow!! My dad went bonkers!!
  16. Hi, usual me threw away the handbooks when the saws arrived last hear:001_rolleyes: 1, what's the hi and low settings? There are no numbers beside the screw holes:confused1: 2. The oiler, the clutch cover has the little notch out it, but there isn't a little spindle thing to turn, and the saw is oiling ok:confused1: Is this a new design but use up a huge box of older covers!!! Am I right in thinking they did this years ago and then went back to the turns thing. Cheers:001_smile:
  17. Yes last 1 got milled and is going to be a new floor in a castle renovation:thumbup1: This 1 got ringed up and stacked in the garden behind a big Laura's hedge to rot away and help the beasties!! Chipped all the limbs with the big chipper, just didn't seem fair on Gloria:laugh1:
  18. You do the easy ones and send the lad up the ivy clad hell job:sneaky2:
  19. What kind of digger? Wheeled , tracked, are you taking it on the road?
