    I don't know what a vapour trap,is, but without vents that's going to sweat and rot very quickly, for making a kiln you will need some kind of moisture extractor gizmo so shouldn't be a bother.

    That's a very good price, my best 1 was second hand, in lined £1600 plus vat then it was £350p v delivery and that was a good deal I thought. New they were £2k p v easy. They are a great investment, I bought my first 1 13 years ago for a grand, it's as food as the day I got it:001_smile:

    Depends what your taking to the party. If its a grands worth of tools and a little van then £20 an hour will tick the box for some folk but financially you would be better off at £7.50 an hour on the hooks strimming somewhere . 2 men, pick up, trailer, scagg/ ride on plus insurances, fuel and the most important parts, skills and experience then if your not taking home minimum £500 a day then your just going to have a life of finance and no money imo.

    1.5 ton would be a waste of time, all you would get on it is a steel hiab and little winch, out put would be painfull imo. Do you have a woodland? Is it the same site all the time? There is a holder on Arbtrader that used to belong to me, it's built for the job if you want to drag out in lenghts. Personally I'd rather lift it and keep it clean, depending on what timber you have, site and budget, will depend on the kit. Best machine I've ever had is a 5ton tracked dumper with timber crane on it, it was emense at getting stuff out quick and easily no matter the terrain.

    Have any of you guys put lights on the chipper, not just indicators and reflectors, but actual headlights, I have seen it somewhere. With the ducker on the front, my driver side headlight can't be seen, not ideal.
