  2. hey dean, didnt mean any harm yesterday. i see what you mean about text coming over differently. i looked at it last night and i did sound arrogant, so i apologise. it sounds great in your head, everyone on here so far is really cool and i am enjoying all the banter and input. having a meeting with buzz tomorrow about chip and stuff. sorry again if we got off on the wrong foot. stevie

    are you the poor cyclist

  4. hi mate, high scale bought them last week. cheers stevie

  5. hi matt, spiderjack is interesting to sy the least, i enjoy it in old pollards and small stuff, but on big trees i find it quite terrifying tbh, its on or off and you cant keep your rope loose whe high up, say for mmoving a few feet at a time or work above your tie in, the weight of the rope chokers it.

  6. hi rich, my email is [email protected]

thanks, still in the enquiry stage about these alpine tractors so any info helps

    cheers stevie

  7. hi pete, can you sort me out a price for a spare set of blades and a torx for taking them on and off please. stevie

  8. dont touch freelander, they had to recall a lot of them coz of the cylinder head.

    and its a landrover.

  12. hi mate, hope everything gets sorted out for you, bad news on both counts. You know where i am Stevie

  13. cheers for mog comments in classified, every little helps. you must of been knackered today mate

  14. hi woody, stevie here(swb) i sent you a message in classifieds, but i never check that so i dont know if you do. i was wanting 35k for the mog, she needs tyres, they are really worn, the back arent as bad as the front. still good for a few miles yet though..i am about to put a new set on, they are about 2800, so that will go on the price, the tp hasnt done much but has the usual wear and tear. needs a seal for one of the rollers, which will be getting ordered asap..i need more than 35k, i was aiming for 40k for the 2, but i am open to negotiation..i have just sold my roofmount so if i could sell the mog it would let me progress to some new toys quicker than planned..if you are serious then call me, i have had a lot of tyre kickers and time wasters, but if you are serious and have a cheque book come and see me next week if you want a good deal.. stevie

  15. hi dave, the fabricator made it far too heavy. it is solid and well made but over engineered.

by the time i put on the chipper, it was too heavy for the mog. it will lift it no bother but i would have to add weights to the front. but i made it 2 yrs ago and since then i have bought a valmet roofmount.

it is a cracking crane, i was going to keep it and maybe use it for a firewood processor that you could self load.

but hey, i have enough stuff lying around.

i would take 3k for it, because that is what i need to clear the original loan on the shredder.

if you are close feel free to come for a look. i am in largs, 30 miles sw of glasgow.cheers

  16. hey mr jjg, what are you up to this weekend mate?

  17. he didnt leave a message, i only call back folk that do, thanks, i will call him next week. hope all is well

  18. you dont want to know how much that has cost me in total to buy and build. but you live and learn. its a cracking crane and it is well built but just too heavy for my original plan, and now i have valmet i dont need it.

what are your thoughts about it, do you have a use for it?

  19. hope you are on the mend mate, chin up and stay positive

  20. yes it fits straight onto the 3 point linkage and just works off the hydraulics ticking over. its got a really good reach.

if you look up ducker shredder on google you will see what the crane came off. it is a roof crane. thats wht we made it so tall to get the best out it. on the other side below the crane it has eyes for 3point attachments because we made it up for feeding the chipper. i would think its ideal for a firewood processor

  21. if its dry, i will be reducing a horrible dead tree over a garage and cutting hedges, wet, i have 2 lads splitting logs. but i want to try and get to the cinema with the wee man, a bit of father son stuff. oh and a piknmix the size of a florida pinyata. so hopefully it rains. failing that i will go with him on sunday.

  22. not sure, i will look at the plate on it, it was always just hedge cuttings and pallets when it was on the ducker.

i think it weighs about a ton. but that is a guess. maybe a bit more.
