Thanks for the id. Second one is probably Fomes as the beech were covered with them. Unfortunately couldn't stop to photograph one specimen which must have measured 24"x24"!

02 plate with 170k now. Used for everything. Now needs a clutch and has had new springs, balance and cam belt and new bottom pulley. Good truck.

Riding in limits seems to be my problem. Two elbows with bits of bone floating about now. What bike are you on? I've dropped down to WR250 from 450 and am faster than I ever was on the 450.

My lad passed his test today so I phoned ins co for a quote to add him as a named driver on either the L200 or the Hilux. NFU say that he can't be a named driver and will have to be the main driver of one vehicle. £1500 on top of what I pay for Hilux and no quote for L200. Ironically they can insure him as a temporary driver on either vehicle for £1 per day but it is only temporary and I need to phone each time I want him to drive. Anyone found a cheaper way of doing this?

Yes with Steve from Ad...romania. Romaniacs is full on and respect if you do it. I'd love to have a go but can't afford to write off my bike throwing it up the rocks. Romania is absolutely brilliant with a mediaevel feel and look to some of the villages. I think Paul Bolton's doing an enduro masterclass early next year with Adventureromania which would be a good taster for Romaniacs.
