  3. That to me is the ultimate homesick music. Used to play it the heat of central Spain when it all became too much.
  4. Not sure about the height but seems to affect trees at about 15 years so is possibly height-related.

    Doesn't look like lightning damage to me. Possibly a canker or old tear out....but probably wrong:001_smile:
  8. Had it a few times and hurts like hell. Always seems to happen on ash trees with me so perhaps they don't like me!

  14. Played for 25 yrs. Really into acoustic blues and have; National for slide, 70s Fender acoustic and a couple of cheap Squier strats. Trouble is I never seem to improve nowadays :-(

  18. Bottom one looks like remains of ffb and top one is plastic explosive with a fuse wire leading to it.
