Played for 25 yrs. Really into acoustic blues and have; National for slide, 70s Fender acoustic and a couple of cheap Squier strats. Trouble is I never seem to improve nowadays :-(

Bottom one looks like remains of ffb and top one is plastic explosive with a fuse wire leading to it.
